Most of you know that we mostly cloth diaper Shelby. I really love our cloth, but there are times when we have to use disposable diapers. Either the baby has a bad rash, long road trips or vacations I prefer to take disposable diapers with me rather than worry about our cloth diapers.

So, picking a good disposable has been tricky. I want something that is going to give us good leak protection, not going to irritate Shelby’s skin and is an affordable price. I mean I went with cloth diapers to save us money in the long run.

I recently tested out the Mom to Mom Diapers which are available at safeway stores. Shelby currently had a rash so I was using disposables anyways. I figured why not test these out now. Since the Mom to Mom Diapers  are designed to protect babies skin with a Soft Hypoallergenic Liner that contains Vitamin E and Aloe I thought they should be gentle on her skin.

Right away I noticed that the diapers seemed soft, which we love since we are used to cloth. I liked the larger tabs and how they seem to hug around Shelby’s waist.

They fit around her was nicely an her bum completely.

Shelby is 25 months (2 years) and about 23 pounds. These are size 4 diapers and I was impressed with the fit. We used them over night and had no issues with leaks in the morning. I really liked the quality and that we had no issues with the diapers at all.  Shelby’s rash cleared up quickly. I was glad to see they didn’t irritate her.

The Mom to Mom Diapers are Available in 31 or 82 count. Safeway knows how moms want to save, and offer the Mom to Mom Diapers at an affordable price.

  1. We don’t have Safeway stores up here in Massachusetts, but those sure so sound like a great brand of diapers.

  2. My babies are grown but finding a good diaper was so important for my sanity and that of my furniture and car seats.

  3. I just read your bio and see that you live in Austin. We lived there the past 13 yrs and just moved to San Antonio. We are back all the time though visiting friends and family.
I used these diapers for a time with our oldest son. Loved them 🙂

  4. These look like great diapers! Luckily I am past that stage but I will share this post with my friends who have young kids.

  5. These sound like great diapers. I have never heard of the brand and will have to let my sister know since she has a safeway down the street from her.

  6. The right diaper really does make a big difference in the life of a baby. It is god that you talked about when disposables are needed by those who cloth diaper.

  7. We just tried these diapers and we were really happy with them. We usually shop at Safeway and if we can save a few bucks on diapers, well that is a good day!
