Maternity style for spring and summer

With the summer months almost here, it is time to start thinking about adding a few hotter hues and statement spring pieces to your wardrobe. This rule is no different for those that are expecting a child and sticking to all the latest trends is easier than you think.

High fashion labels are now stocking a variety of fashionable items that have been tailored to those that are in the midst of pregnancy, in fact many high street stores and designer brands now offer a range of cheap maternity clothes in a dedicated maternity section either of their store or on their website. This is great news for those fashionistas who are dreading the thought of packing away their statement skinny jeans

Investing in a pair of new maternity jeans doesn’t require you to opt for the largest and most unflattering pair in store, choose the cut and colour you normally would and instead opt for an elastic waistband. Simply hide the band under a top or tee and you won’t be able to tell the difference.

The same rule applies to maternity smart trousers, maternity tracksuit bottoms, maternity shorts and maternity skirts, all are must have investments for your new maternity wardrobe and all will last you throughout your pregnancy!

When it is hot outside the only thing you want to throw on is something cool and comfortable, this rule applies more so if you expecting a child. Tanks that offer seamless designs and are longer length in fit are a great investment and go with just about everything. Invest in a few different shades in order to alternate your wardrobe style staples.

Such a piece is great for work if chosen in a deeper shade and great for the beach if chosen in a hotter more vibrant hue.
