Make a Natural Difference *Giveaway closed*

This “Make a Natural Difference” post is sponsored by Smucker’s.

Smucker’s, Laura Scudder’s, and Adams Natural Peanut Butters have teamed up with the National Parks Conservation Association (NPCA) to kick-off the “Make a Natural Difference” campaign. Through the America’s Great Waters Program, the NPCA protects the nation’s delicate water ecosystems that are critical to America’s national parks. From the Everglades to Olympic, Acadia to the Grand Canyon, water is central to the health of our national parks, driving regional economies and shaping land and sustaining daily life.

As a mother to a young family I love to explore our amazing country and take our kids on trips that I hope they will remember their entire lives.

The memories you make with your family while visiting and exploring are things you will never forget. My family and I took a month long trip this past summer and traveled through eleven different states! We wanted to give our children the experience of some of the great things about our Country, and along the way teaching them about caring for our earth and things we can do to keep these monuments here for their kids and grand kids to enjoy.

while on vacation there were a few things we kept with us in the trailer at all times and Peanut Butter was one of them!

Peanut butter is full of protein so it is great for a high energy snack. One peanut butter have switched to recently is  Smucker’s Natural peanut Butter. I like that  Smucker’s Natural Peanut Butter contains just two simple ingredients- peanuts and salt (1% or less of salt).

One of the snacks I found easy to have while traveling is Peanut Butter and Jelly Poppers.

  • 1/2 cup Smucker’s® Natural Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 1/4 cup Smucker’s® Low Sugar™ Reduced Sugar Apricot Preserves
  • 1/4 cup Smucker’s® Low Sugar™ Reduced Sugar Sweet Orange Marmalade
  • Ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons minced dried apricots
  • 1 cup low fat granola without raisins

  1. COMBINE peanut butter, preserves, cinnamon and minced dried apricots in a small bowl.
  2. MEASURE the mixture by rounded half teaspoonful. Form into balls; roll in granola and place in candy-sized paper cups. Refrigerate until serving.
