VTech Toys Bugsby Reading System *Giveaway*
Over the summer the girls received the Bugsby Reading System. At first they didn’t play with it much and it sat there. I finally got it and showed them what they cna do with it, and Sarah’s eyes popped open realizing it was something SHE could do!
And she loves it, every night when I go to tuck her in her bed she is sitting reading with her Bugsby. In fact she keeps it sitting on her night stand.
I think the reason she didn’t use it at first is because she didn’t know about the pen cartridges. I showed her how to put them into the pen and then putting it back into the book. Now she reads with it like a pro.
A few reasons we love Bugsby:
First off, we love the cartridges! No more downloading books to the pen! No more using up the memory on the pen and no more crying that the book doesn’t work with the pen!
Each book has a special slot in the back to hold the pen cartridges!
The only thing I don’t like about Bugsby, is that when we first got it I would find the pen cartridges scattered around the house. But once my girls realized how important it was to keep the cartridge and book together we don’t have that issue anymore.
Every touch of our magical pen brings reading to life!

I like that it focuses on reading and language arts.I homeschool so we dont have a “class” but my step children do and my neice is in daycare so either one would be a good option.

I like that it focuses, not only on reading, but language arts as well. And the second part of this is kind of funny…..I homeschool, so the class that it would go to is “Gratia School” (that is the legal name of our homeschool).

I love the fact that reading can be fun. I know it’s overwhelming for some. My little one isn’t in school yet, so I would donate it to the kindergarten she will attend.
I think even my older kids who know how to read would think this was fun!

It’s a great product overall, but I’m particularly impressed that there is a volume control on the pen. Nice! I’d donate to my son’s PK class.
I like the fact that it works on phonics and helps with word recognition. I’ve seen it in action and it’s great! We would give it to our 2-3 year old class, they would love it!!

I love that it comes with a story about “bugsy”. How cute! I actually don’t have children so both of them are going to the local battered woman’s shelter that I volunteer at. I’m a broke college student but I win things in sweepstakes to donate such as clothes, educational books, backpacks. The kids there have so little many have to leave with just the clothes off their backs so being able to give them brand new items is a real treat.

i will love this for both of my kids i have a four year and a six year old both of my kids are consider special ed and has speech delay and i will love to get this to help motivated both of my kids with reading i like the features far as word hunt option and you can set the games as a beginner to go basic on your childs development and the reading . The class i will donate the Bugsby is to my son self contained class because the are other students that will benefit from this with the same problems as my son thanks for doing this giveaway.

I like the Story reading and interactive activities i would be giving it to my sons first grade class
My favorite feature is the adorable pen and these are characters the kids would know and enjoy!
I will be making the donation to the K-2 classroom at Dixie Elementary school in Dixie Washington. This would be a HUGE blessing to this classroom because money is very tight at this small country school.

My older kids had these type of reading “helpers” but I think the little bookworm PEN itself will grab the kids attention and WANT to “play”. ANything to get kids to read is a plus!!! it opens up a whole other world!!!

I love that it’s “Curriculum focuses on reading and language arts.” I would donate the extra book to my son’s classroom. He attends a preschool for children that are hearing impaired, this would be a PERFECT addition to the kids’ book time and play time.
