Tinkerbell DVD

THIS GIVEAWAY IS NOW OVER!
The winners have been emailed!

On October 28th, Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment presents the much anticipated full-length CG animated movie TINKER BELL on DVD and Blu-ray Disc.

Journey deep into the heart of Never Land to the magical secret hideaway of Pixie Hollow, home of the Disney Fairies. Hear Tinker Bell (Mae Whitman) speak for the very first time, and unlock the magic of nature with her friends, Fawn (America Ferrera), Iridessa (Raven-Symone), Rosetta (Kristin Chenoweth), and Silvermist (Lucy Liu). The impressive voice cast also includes singer-songwriter Jesse McCartney as Terence, keeper of the pixie dust, and Academy Award® winning actress Anjelica Huston as the voice of Queen Clarion.

Exclusive DVD bonus features including a set top game, a behind-the-scenes “making of” featurette and more are divided into two distinctive menus. The Blu-ray Disc contains all the same bonus features as the DVD, plus all new Disney BD Live Network Incentives!

I swear my girls have not stopped watching this DVD since we received it, and really it is adorable! I love watching it with them.

What was so exciting for us, is that the week before we received the DVD we went to Disneyland and Samantha got to meet a cast member who plays Tinker Bell and the following night she got to see Tink FLY! It was a magical moment in our family to see our 5 year olds eyes open wide to see this character flying in the air. (sure she was suspended by a wire but Sam didn’t know)

Born into the fantastic world of Pixie Hollow, Tinker Bell thinks her fairy talent as a tinker isn t as special or important as the other fairies talents. But when Tink tries to change who she is, she creates nothing but disaster! With encouragement from her friends Rosetta, Silvermist, Fawn and Iridessa, Tink learns the key to solving her problems lies in her unique tinker abilities and discovers that when she s true to herself, magical things can happen.

Here is a fun clip to enjoy while you wait for this adorable movie to come out to DVD.

And here is a fun maze for the kids to play!

We love Tink! And the wings are awesome!

When my kids were almost 3 & 1, we went to Disney World. We managed to see Winnie-the-Pooh and friends at Epcot in England, and it was incredible! Even my husband, Mr. Who Needs Disney World, was misty!

  11. Megan says:

My kids, Jacob and Abby, are dressing up as Peter Pan and Tinkerbell for Halloween, so we’re very much into Tinkerbell right now.

My magical moment would be our trip to Disneyland this September. We originally planned to go with my mom and dad, but my dad lost his battle with kidney cancer last May. We decided that we would still go on our trip. While it was difficult to be there without “Papa”, it was great to finally create some new, happy memories after such a difficult year for our family. And it doesn’t get much better than Disneyland. I really think it is the “happiest place on earth.”

  12. Annie says:

When I gave birth to my daughters, those were both magical moments in my life. I have to admit when I took them to Disneyland and we were on the Its a Small World ride it was pretty darn magical!

My soon to be 4 year old is a huge Tinkerbell, as has her mum always been and I am 42.

Our magical moment of this year would have to be win we won a trip for 8 of us (six of our children and both parents) to Disneyland because of the huge improvements in my son’s autism because of our family’s work with him. It was such a sweet blessing, because we have all sacrificed much for this success (but have NO regrets) and could have never made that trip otherwise. We had such a great time and such sweet memories!

I think the most “magical” thing that has happened in our family was when we adopted our first son and his birth mother came straight from the hospital and brought him to us. She carried him in his car seat with a white blanket covering the top part of the seat and then she laid him down in from of us and pulled the blanket off the seat and then we saw him for the first time.

I still cry when I think about it!

We would love to win Tinker Bell!!!

For my daughter’s 5th birthday, I gave her a fairy party out in a clearing in the woods. I had it all decorated and her and her sister dressed up as fairies. When they saw the setting, their eyes were just lit up. Their brother was dressed like a gnome and running through the woods. The squeals were just the best. It was a magical day for us all.

  26. Mommyhood is Thankless says:

My daughter just LOVES Tinkerbell, I think the magical moment for our family is after my daughters heart surgery, when the doctor told us that it went well and she was going to be okay. Waiting was just so scary and to lay all those fears to rest was amazing for us all. The magic just kept coming when our little girl who just had open heart surgery recovered faster than we ever could have imagined and was playing 2 days later in the hospital. She is such a blessing and it is magic everyday that she is alive, because we could have lost her before or during her surgery. I thank God everyday that she is here by his choice.

He had come up to the dive platform and was standing straight up out of the water trying to get our attention. Once he had it he swam around the boat a couple times real fast, came to the back again and did a little flap of his tail and then swam off. We were all just speachless.

We strung X-mas lights and chinese lanterns of all different colors all over. When we saw each other we couldn’t stop bawling. While the rest of us were treating her fragile and scared to touch her, my daughter climbed right up in the bed with her, cuddled up to her, and said “I’ll be right beside you, you are going to be okay, you have to watch my soccer game”. My daughter gave her Hope to live, and made her laugh again. My grandmother has pushed herself to heal, and she comes to almost all of Hope’s soccer games, even the practices.

Magical moment…I just think of the first time we went for a walk when my dad moved to North Carolina, my sister and I went for a walk with my dad, we got to a spot, he held out his hands and pulled us up on top of a big rock where we could see the view, and there were no words, it was just magical, at least to me. A few years later we lost him to a cancer that couldn’t be treated, it was horrible, and I’m glad he found a place to live where he was happy, even if just for a few years.

Our families magaical moment. . .
Our oldest daughter placed a baby boy for adoption. We were able to meet the family and know that he was with a GREAT family. A year later we were at a city celebration and ran into the family and got to see the baby again. It was a very special couple of hours seeing how he had grown and how much he was loved. We have a special relationship with that family now and get to spend an evening with them every year. The little boy is 10 now and knows that he has his family and an extra in us. It is a “magical” moment every year to see him.

(The granddaughters would love this DVD)

Joe was at a traffic light in front of the booth and we looked at each other at the same time. The light turned green and he left. A few minutes later I heard a horn honking and when I looked, it was Joe. He drove back around to try to talk to me. It truly was love at first sight because we’ve been together ever since, 13 years and 2 beautiful children.
