Tide Oxi Multi-Purpose Stain Remover

Tide recently introduced its first product that can be used inside the laundry room and now around the home – Tide Oxi Multi-Purpose Stain Remover.

Now you can use Tide detergent in conjunction with new Tide Oxi Multi-Purpose Stain Remover – a multi-purpose powder designed for use in the laundry room and around the home – to give those summer clothes you had stored away a brilliant clean so you look your best this season. With more than 225 uses throughout the home, it is a true multi-purpose cleaner that features the amazing cleaning power of Tide to help fight tough household stains. When used as an additive to detergent it provides better stain removal and brightens whites and colors and won’t ruin clothes like other Oxi products.

I decided to try out the Tide OXI with Shelby’s extremely stained clothes. You can see how dirty they are. TideOXI (4)

I actually poured a little detergent and the OXI right on top of the clothes and let them sit for about an hour before I washed them.

And here the tops are right out of the washing machine after the first wash.

Overall I was pleased with the first wash. I did however wash them all a second time and the stains seem to be lifting. I think it’s extremely important though to start treating stains right when they happen and not let them sit like I did.

The new Tide OXI is also safe for treating stains on upholstery and carpet, and for clean-up on tile and grout, bathtubs and even patio furniture! You can purchase it at your local grocery store!
