It’s that time of year again – dreaded swimsuit season! According to a recent survey of more than 1,000 women conducted by Lands’ End, eight out of ten surveyed (83 percent) confessed to having worn the wrong size swimsuit. They also believe other women wear the wrong size suit as well; 71 percent believe the majority of women wear the wrong size suit. This could explain why respondents have experienced swimsuit-sizing mishaps such as saggy bottoms (65 percent), cleavage overflow (58 percent), behind busting out/seat creep (56 percent) and muffin top (54 percent).
With so many advances in swimsuit design, high-performance fabrics and a full range of available sizes, there is no reason why any woman should experience muffin top or saggy bottoms. Lands’ End offers a wide variety of suits to flatter every body including mix and match, one-piece, tankinis, bikinis and mastectomy suits.
I was able to pick out a swim suit from Lands’ End so I choose something from the all new Lands’ End Canvas. What I love about Lands’ End Canvas is that to me it was created for the younger audience. I also noticed that with almost all of the swim suits from Lands’ End Canvas can be mixed and matched. I did that!
I picked the adorable Women’s Heritage Mini Dot Side-tie Bikini Bottom.
- Decorative ties at each side
- Sits below your natural waist
- Classic mini dots print
- Pair with Heritage Swim tops
Design: The Heritage Collection has classic, nautical -inspired style. Tops and bottoms are sold separately so you have the freedom to put a suit together the way you want it. I love that the bottom has full “rear” coverage. You don’t have to worry about your “cheeks” slipping out or getting a massive wedgie.
I paired the Heritage Mini Dot Bikini Bottom with the Women’s Cabana Ring Bikini Top.
- Halter straps tie at the neck, also ties in back
- Removable soft cups
- Silver ring hardware at the center
- Pair with solid or print Cabana bottoms (offered separately)
Design: The Cabana Collection brings swimwear to a more glamorous level. Draping or shirring at the bust puts an emphasis on softness and femininity. Pair with Cabana bottoms to build your perfect suit.
I think the two together is fun and keeps the “wear-e” looking young.
