Sports Authority is Teaming Up With Nintendo! *Giveaway*
Sports Authority is teaming up with Nintendo to create a new way to experience fitness gaming. The collaboration will allow Sports Authority to sell Wii gaming consoles, Wii Fit and Wii Fit Plus, as well as various accessories and games for the Wii, in its stores. To launch the product and to help customers get to know the Wii better, Sports Authority will create a “We know fit. We know fun.” experience at 102 of their stores. Stores will feature a dedicated area with a demo unit and knowledgeable trainers to help customers try the Wii and Wii Fit Plus before they buy. This new approach helps moms trade static workouts for ones that involve fun and fitness for the whole family.
Anyone who knows me, knows we love the Wii and love using Wii Fit! I recently was able to check out the new Wii Fit Plus game and it’s fun!!!
I am excited about Jillian Michael’s new game Fitness Ultimatum 2010 for the Wii and can not wait to try it out. I am a huge fan of Biggest Loser!
Tomorrow if you live in Southern California you can head out to Torrance and join a really fun event! Not only will Jillian Micahels be there, but you can win some awesome prizes! Trust me I wish I could make it tomorrow!

Thursday, Nov. 19
Sports Authority store in Torrance (located at 3610 Torrance Blvd.), CA (just outside of Los Angeles, CA)
Event starts at 9:30 a.m. and runs until mid-day
Event Highlights:
· Jillian Michaels, from “The Biggest Loser,” will be in attendance.
· There will be the “world’s largest Wii Fit Plus” demonstration featuring 102 people. Jillian will be part of the demonstration, doing what she does best – showing folks how to get in shape!
· Lots of items to be given away, including copies of Jillian Michaels’ new Wii game “Fitness Ultimatum 2010“ and Wii Fit Plus boards, as well as other prizes from Sports Authority, Nintendo and Nike.

I live 1.5 miles from the gym. I try to walk or bike to the gym to get in an extra warm-up and cool down after my workout. But, in the winter (in NY) its a bit harder to convince myself to get outside, so I try to get in a home workout in the mornings.

I try to get in as many walks with the kids or the dog as I can, though some days it’s hard to be out in the cold, since my son’s lungs get aggitated. This would help–we’d never have to leave!

I’m not the most active now due to medical issues but I do use free weights for my arms. I used to use treadmill and I still occasionally use Wii sports. I am TRYING
to get well and get back to it. Regardless of my issues, my kids love the Wii and are very active in sports. We have only the game that came with the unit and dont have the Wii Board. I would love to have this for my Facebook addicted 17 year old who did NOT go out for Cross Country this fall. Shes feeling it!!!

To get exercise, I hit the gym at least a few times a week. Prefer 4 but it hardly ever happens with normal mom chaos. I love fitness games and am looking forward to finishing the basement and having room to set up the treadmill again!

I work two days a week at my gym…I get a free membership and I am already there, so I have no excuses!
I take the stairs instead of the elevator at work. I do a lot of going up and down the floors for my job. Good exercise
I have many dvd’s and lift weights at home, its harder to stick with in the winter. In the summer i get on my bike and just ride!

my baby drops me off 1 mile away on her way to work at 5:30 in the morning and I run home. She DOES stop the truck to let me out.
I do have the Wii Fit and that is great fun for the family and you can get a workout too. I also go to the gym 3-4 times a week…. I force myself … but I go.

We try to get exercise in our lives by parking at the furthest parking spot and walking. We take the stairs whenever we can. During nice weather we take a walk in the evening after dinner.

I make time, its not a hobby or a maybe its a have to, I treat the same as a job. Except I really enjoy it. My prob is getting bored so this would be a great tool to use to switch it up.

I fit it in first thing in the morning, 5 days a week.
I work out at different times sround my work schedule. But I do try to fit it in. This would be great because I could do it in my living room.

I chase my naughty 3 year old around ALL DAY LONG and climb up the stairs in my 2 story house a billion times a day. LOL Actually, I’ve been gradually starting to exercise again. I try to go workout at least once a week, unfortunately that’s about all I have the time for. I would love to workout here at home though. I haven’t tried working out with the wii yet though. This sounds great.
I fit exercise in by having the equipment at home. It makes it easier if I don’t have to worry about going anywhere.

I work at a busy fast food restaurant, I try to be in a position where I have to run around alot. On the weekends I ride my bicycle 5-6 miles on a hike and bike trail to strengh train my knees. (I have barely any cartilage in them and my tendons are overgrown, I’ve had surgeries on both).
I walk and I chase around my 2 year old. I also play Wii Sport.
