Sports Authority is Teaming Up With Nintendo! *Giveaway*
Sports Authority is teaming up with Nintendo to create a new way to experience fitness gaming. The collaboration will allow Sports Authority to sell Wii gaming consoles, Wii Fit and Wii Fit Plus, as well as various accessories and games for the Wii, in its stores. To launch the product and to help customers get to know the Wii better, Sports Authority will create a “We know fit. We know fun.” experience at 102 of their stores. Stores will feature a dedicated area with a demo unit and knowledgeable trainers to help customers try the Wii and Wii Fit Plus before they buy. This new approach helps moms trade static workouts for ones that involve fun and fitness for the whole family.
Anyone who knows me, knows we love the Wii and love using Wii Fit! I recently was able to check out the new Wii Fit Plus game and it’s fun!!!
I am excited about Jillian Michael’s new game Fitness Ultimatum 2010 for the Wii and can not wait to try it out. I am a huge fan of Biggest Loser!
Tomorrow if you live in Southern California you can head out to Torrance and join a really fun event! Not only will Jillian Micahels be there, but you can win some awesome prizes! Trust me I wish I could make it tomorrow!
Event Information:
Thursday, Nov. 19
Sports Authority store in Torrance (located at 3610 Torrance Blvd.), CA (just outside of Los Angeles, CA)
Event starts at 9:30 a.m. and runs until mid-day
Event Highlights:
· Jillian Michaels, from “The Biggest Loser,” will be in attendance.
· There will be the “world’s largest Wii Fit Plus” demonstration featuring 102 people. Jillian will be part of the demonstration, doing what she does best – showing folks how to get in shape!
· Lots of items to be given away, including copies of Jillian Michaels’ new Wii game “Fitness Ultimatum 2010“ and Wii Fit Plus boards, as well as other prizes from Sports Authority, Nintendo and Nike.

I am on a women’s tennis league to have fun and exercise several times a week
We have a dog, so often go for walks in the woods surrounding our house.
If it’s raining I have an elliptical and mini trampoline to keep me busy
We walk to school instead of taking the car. Also go hiking on the weekends.

I get exercise into my life by joining community fitness programs and participating with a group of friends. This makes exercise a social activity and includes a support system.

I’ve found a great gym that I really like. I’m there 5 days a week – Boot camp, Zumba, Pilates, Skinny Jeans, plus personal training. I’m also trying to get into hiking more. (6 miles in the hills last Friday!) But my gym is closed on weekends. This would be wonderful! (It would also be great for my kids.)
Mostly my exercise consists of walking my dog but he is crazy and likes to walk for an hour at a time.

Thank you for the giveaway. Honestly, I don’t get enough exercise and I really need to workout more, lose weight and get into shape. I suppose that I just get bored with the routines and need something fun!
I try to get some excercise but taking my dog for a light jog or walk on a regular basis
I try to do DDR every now and then for some fun cardio work.
Right now, it’s Ten Minute Trainer and an occasional jog to the park.

I try and walk whenever the weather is good……….but here in the Northwest that is ify at best this time of year. I could really use this WII to help get me to my goals of 45lbs lost…..i have lost 20 and need more incentive for the next 25…..thanks for the contest!
I play basketball with my daughter and we go on walks on the cool days…yes, I said cool, not cold. I live in NC…not tooooo much cold here!

I get some from chasing after 5 kids,we also walk to the park and play.I am looking into yoga or pilates for my Fibromyalgia.I could use more honestly but dont feel well enough half the time to get motivated and with my recent surgery I am limited.

Well for me, I try to get it in when I can. Our schedules are a bit crazy. So I will take a 15 minute brisk walk at lunch some days. Other days, I get home and do all of my chores quickly before sitting down. Definitely end up working up a sweat.
I love my elliptical!
I get plenty of exercise by trying to keep up with a 4 year old and an 8 year old.
I try to dance around and play with my kids as much as possible!

I get up at the crack of dawn to squeeze in an hour of exercise, 4-5 times a week. I used to be religious about it, but I’m in the final few months of writing a dissertation, so it’s taken a bit of a back seat. I could really use a new program to jump start my efforts again… and would *love*love*love* to win this.
DH & I own a fitness center so we get our exercise there and if it’s not on the machines, then it’s by cleaning them!

I try to workout almost every day. I go to the gym, I run, I ride my recumbent bike.
I go walking at the gym every morning with my dad. It gives us a chance to catch up and we are doing something healthy in the process.

I walk as much as I can. It’s the little things that really add up when time is an issue.
I lug around heavy music equipment.
I joined a gym in the same complex as where I work. I try to go on my lunch hour 3 times a week. Once I get home, I am not going back out!
I try to do the stepper (the plastic one that you step on and off of). Usually my kids cral on and off with me…its a family affair!
In all weather the Wii Fit is there for me. My neighbor on the other hand, opted to get a dog. I’m happy to join them in long walks when the weather is good.

I’m in the process of completely remodeling my yard! I’ve taken up (square by square) the old lawn, and am building raised block beds. This means carrying 30 pound blocks up 10 steps and across the yard, fitting them into place, leveling them, and repeating, oh about 150 times for one bed… then shoveling dirt from the bottom of the hill into a wheelbarrow, pushing it up the big hill, and then shoveling into the new bed… and I’ve got 4 more beds to go! Then, comes planting new trees, weeding and general taking care of…
I plan on walking my dogs to get exercise!

I go for walks around the lake with my baby…it takes about 2 hours and there’s some big hills. I also park at the farthest point in the parking lot at school and do a lot of extra walking! Thank you for the giveaway!

I try to take a walk every day to get some exercise.

I turned down an offer to move my washer and dryer from the basement to the main floor.
I make sure to pack a gym back and keep it in my car – that way I don’t have the “I don’t have time to go home and change” excuse!

i always take the stairs, never drive around looking for the closest parking space, just take any and walk, do pushups and situps every day
I try and get exercise in my life by taking the kids I babysit to the farther park and rollerblading there. Theres a track that we all love to ride around! Sometimes it’s a stressful walk but it’s always a great feeling to get that extra exercise each day.

My husband and I have a membership to the fitness center in our community and we try to go after work and on the weekends.
I volunteer and work at my kids’ school, so I’m always “running” around!
