Six Flags Ticket *Giveaway closed*
What would you do with a million dollars? After receiving treatments from over 300 filmmakers, four short-films have made it to the final round of the Discover Card Film Challenge. The films range from funny, to inspirational to dramatic, and most importantly they’re all original and entertaining. Check out the videos below.
The films are in support of Discover Card’s Everyday Giveaway in which one lucky card user will win $1,000,000.
Cash or Credit: A split-screen storytelling technique shows what one man’s life would, or would not, be like if he won one million dollars.
Good Fortune: One man’s misfortune becomes a blessing in disguise.
Clouds: In a funny, dialogue-driven short, a dad and his two sons explore their daydreams about what they would each do with one million dollars. What would you do with $1 Million?
Genie: An allegory that deals with themes of generosity, selflessness, love and the real value of money. What would you do with $1 Million?
Of course my favorite video is the Clouds. It’s cute to see the dad and his sons jsut sitting and relaxing, talking about what they would do with a million dollars.
ONE winner will receive 4 tickets to use at any Six Flags Theme Park. (valid thru 1/5/2011, no black-out dates.)

I like the Genie. There was a movie out a few years back with Bridget Fonda which explored this topic in a dark way. I think it was called “A Simple Plan”. Really makes one thinkK!

My favorite entry is MINI VACATIONS or STAYCATIONS. We have a child ticket from Post Cereals. The four adult tickets would help out the rest of the family.
