Sisters know you the best

Samantha picked out a birthday gift for Sarah. She knew that Ariel was Sarah’s favorite.  My daughters know more about each other than anyone else I know. From their fears to their favorite foods. Ask Samantha any question about Sarah and she will know the answer. Sarah will know  a lot of answers about her big sissy too.

I love these girls, for everything they are and for who they will become. Amazing little people…

A sister is someone who loves you from the heart,
No matter how much you argue you cannot be drawn apart.
She is a joy that cannot be taken away,
Once she enters your life, she is there to stay.

A friend who helps you through difficult times,
Her comforting words are worth much more than dimes.
A partner who fills your life with laughs and smile,
These memories last for miles and miles.

When she is by your side, the world is filled with life,
When she is not around, your days are full of strife.
A sister is a blessing, who fills your heart with love,
She flies with you in life with the beauty of a dove.

A companion to whom you can express your feelings,
She doesn’t let you get bored at family dealings.
Whether you are having your ups or downs,
She always helps you with a smile and never frowns.

With a sister you cannot have a grudge,
She is as sweet as chocolate and as smooth as fudge.
Having a sister is not just a trend,
It is knowing you can always turn to her, your best friend.

I have three sisters. They have always been my best friends. I was so glad when I found out my second child was a girl. I wanted my daughter to have a sister. They are a pair. I can’t imagine one without the other. I have a brother that I am close to, but there’s just something special about the bond between sisters. Great picture!

I have a sister that is 10 and half months younger than I am and I think because we were so close in age we didn’t get along as well as we should but when it came down to it she was always there. They are two lucky girls!

A sibling relationship will be the longest relationship you have in your life.

It’s a blessing they have each other.

Awesome poem and so true. When we found out baby #3 was a girl I was disappointed but my friend reminded me that sisters are best friends for life and my girls adore each other. And now w/ another boy on the way our Bubba will have a Bubba for life =)

Just LOOK at Samantha’s beaming face! She is one proud sister! I have 3 and can’t even imagine my life without them. I do think though that sister in laws and friends can be the sisters that some are not “born” to have. It is a special connection for sure, even if when I was young, my sister closest to me faught our fair share…but when she moved out I was lost beyond reason. I am lucky to be within a half hour from all of them! Blessed beyond words!

How true that is. I can’t believe how much my daughters know about each other. Then I’ll ask something and they’ll look at me like “How do you NOT know that, mom?”

  16. Kasey says:

They are adorable. I used to have a best friend who I thought of like a sister – we were the same, ask either one of us a question about the other and we would know straight off.

I was an only child. I have two boys and I love how the 18 month old follows his big brother and copies everything he does.
