Simple Toys…
Isn’t it interesting that such simple toys bring the most amount of imagination and keeps the kids quiet the longest?

I agree! I think my son like the more simple wooden toys the best. I have stored them away so he can give them to his children some day.
It is absolutely true that my kids will spend all day playing with a cardboard box.

Our little gals seems to like the simpler toys, anything without busy backgrounds, crayons, a simple ball! she has an imagination and the simple toys keep her entertained.
it seems sometimes kids get more enjoyment out of the boxes sometimes!
I remember the Christmas my son LOVED the fold down box his toy came in…didn’t care too much for the toy itself.
Only a cliche cuz it a truth about kids!
bunk beds should be made from strong materials like steel or better yet composite fibers.:~
My daugher loved her wooden blocks. When she was only 2 1/2 I caught her making a city out of them. She laid the long rectangular one end to end for a road and stood all the others blocks on end around the road. I thought she was a genious.
Wooden trucks, blocks and empty boxes are always a favorite in this house.
We have a large set of wooden blocks that have been in near-constant use in our house for 6 years now. Both my son and daughter love them and can come up with so many ways to play with them.
My daughter will play with anything you put in front of her (shes only 4 months old). I seriously dont buy her a lot of toys because I know shes more interested in stuff we have laying around the house!
I love that little truck. My grandma had one very similar that I still remember playing with! Those kinds of toys will last the longest too!
My daughter is at the stage where she likes empty boxes and wrapping paper more than whatever was in them!
Wooden blocks are a hit in my household. I had to get an extra set…
So true. It is the simple toys that make them use their imagination. 🙂
I think this is wonderful, and also agree with the person above me. Allowing children to explore their creative side through imagination leads to great things!
My grandson is in the stage that he likes things he can put together to make his own creations
I’m carrying out something of the same interest and taking note on this .Many thanks.
