Morning Sickness… two words that I absolutely hate! Being pregnant with my fourth baby I have had morning sickness with all of my babies. This time was by far the worst!
I was just at five weeks when the nausea started to hit me in the evenings and continued until I was fourteen weeks. I tried everything under the sun to help relieve the nausea. Nothing helped me. I was eating tiny bites of apples and sips of water and sleeping a lot.
Some of my favorite foods I could no longer stand the smell of! Like pizza!
Sea-Band has created a new line called Sea-Band Mama which is designed for the pregnant mom! The Sea-Band Mama line includes drug-free morning sickness wrist bands and anti-nausea ginger lozenges – now available at CVS.
I loved being able to use an all natural resource of peppermint essential oil to help with nausea associated with pregnancy. I did try prescription anti-nausea but all it did was make me constipated. (yep I said it!)
Using products like the Sea-Band Mama can help mamas to be have a little control, because we all know how debilitating morning sickness can be! I literally needed a nanny for almost ten weeks, I could barely get out of bed! If only I would have had these wrist bands and ginger lozenges sooner!
The Sea-Band Mama wrist bands use acupressure to trigger the P6 Nei Kuan pressure point on the inside of the wrist to alleviate nausea from morning sickness. Stimulating this pressure point helps the body to calm nausea and vomiting.
Free from artificial colors and flavors, Sea-Band Mama Ginger Lozenges were formulated with essential ginger oils to help relieve upset stomach. They also include folic acid to contribute to a normal maternal tissue growth during pregnancy.
