I have already found the Scott Common Sense Community to be very helpful. I love all the tips but my favorites are the organizing ones. I know a lot of people think I am organized, well it’s because I hunt for tips on helping me stay organized! In fact the Conquer Holiday Clutter! Tip is very useful and I have already started the process of weaning out the junk mail. I also sent it to my mother in law who receives about 10 catalogs a day! (yeah it’s bad)

Trying to get on a consistent exercise plan as well as a consistent sleep plan!
This month im really looking to spend more time w/ the family and enjoying them and much less time stressing about bills and money. My family is the most important thing in the world and being overwhelmed with stress takes away from the enjoyment I can have w/ them.
I’ll be sorting out the clothes in my closet and donating unwanted items to Goodwill.
I’m working out more.
I changed by exercising at least 3 times a week!

I got out of my excercise routine and the weather change only supported this but starting today, my toddler and I and our stroller are headed for the mall – to run around and walk around. This is a very important change for me!

I am taking more vitamin C
The changes I am making are physical, and are geared to improving my vision. Had cataract surgery on one eye last week, and will most likely have the other one done at the end of next month.
I’m going to try to sleep more.

My husband and I have both started recycling at home, instead of just at work. On top of all that we have started exercising (sometimes together and sometimes individually) and we don’t dine out as often. We have more time to spend together, more fun cooking together and save more money by cooking at home. Thanks for the great giveaway!

I’ve made a commitment to get out and exercise during the winter months. I bought a heavy coat, scarf, ear muffs, and gloves so I’m ready for any weather we have.

This month, I learned that I might have Menieres Disease, so while I waited for my appointment with an ear specialist, I gave up sodium. Might as well give up living! Sodium is everywhere – even in our drinking water. And if you’re also trying to do low fat, forget it – low fat products are higher in sodium!

I’m trying to change my eating habits and excercise more
I will eat less food
I have stopped just keeping things because I might need them for some future unplanned project. I don’t have much storage space and I need to stop collecting things. So instead of throwing things away, I donate them to local charities
I am planning to exercise more for my health.
I’m trying very hard to get caught up on my paperwork and book keeping…and then stay current
There will be more focus on getting out with my kids to museums and the zoos and other fun and learning outside the home before my son begins school.

We just purchased a treadmill, so it will keep me, my husband, and our teen son who likes to keep in shape for sports, more active during the colder months. we’ve also replaced many items with more environmentally friendly products, including our lightbulbs, laundry detergent, and household cleaners, and we will continue to do that this month.

planning to keep going to curves to lose the weight and get off my dibetes medication for good.
I am trying to go outside and walk for at least a half hour everyday and to eat better.
We are going to exchange some of our current appliances and furnishings with more efficient ones that save electicity.
With the h1n1 going around we’re all washing our hands at every opportunity.
I will be on money lock down, so I will be finding relaxing free things to do with my time.

I am getting my transcripts together to enroll in an RN program. We have started budgeting for a new baby and to buy a house. My husband sat down with his advisor and lined out when he needs to apply for law school. It’s been a crazy month!

Been trying to stay off the oil soaked yummy snacks and stay healthy!
The changes I am making in my life are getting the house organized & KEEPING it organized PERMANENTLY! Doing this will eliminate the stress of never being able to find things & my entire family will be able to relax and not worry about the piles of stuff lying around.

Eat less to load up on the holidays later

I’ve started going on daily walks just to get my energy up. It’s great
I just bought a treadmill, so the biggest change I am making this month is to get more exercise and be more active.
I started trying to get more use out of things instead of just throwing them out. I’m mending shirts and other clothing. Amazing how much I save by just spending a few minutes to give our clothing a longer life.
Now that the weather is nice, I am going walking in the mornings!

I am eating healthier at lunch. No more eating out every day!
We are blessed to be a family that has managed to keep their heads financially above water when so many can not. This year we have decided to only ask for one gift each for Christmas and with then donate the rest to charity.
I plan on getting a water filter pitcher and ditching the bottled water–it’s cheaper and less wasteful!
