sakroots Artist Circle One World

Earth Day is just around the corner and there is no better way to be GREEN then by doing it with style AND giving back.    The Sak is launching a new collection for Spring 2010 – sakroots Artist Circle One World. Building on the success of The Sak’s signature “peace print”, sakroots introduces the One World featuring art by Brooklyn-based artist Diane Barcelowsky.  The One World print signifies the shared philosophy that “we all share one world, one dream of peace”.  It illustrates diverse cultures, animals and nature living together harmoniously.  Now that’s the stylish part; here’s how you’d be giving back -The sakroots Artist Circle collection is eco-friendly and uses materials such as jute, 100% recycled cotton and recycled nylon and supports the The Nature Conservancy’s Plant a Billion Trees Campaign.

Sakroots will introduce a new artist print each season and feature a “gallery” of original prints created by artists who share in the brand’s hope of cultivating peace and harmony.

I don’t normally carry a purse, but I would definitely carry that one pictured. I like the meaning behind it of living in harmony with all.
