Raising a Father tells the story of how a young daughter uses her charm, her love, and her caring nature to train her dad to become a better father and a better person. Foreseeing his father-daughter future reduced to obligatory phone calls on birthdays and Father’s Day, Sen leaves corporate America. He founds a home-based marketing consulting company in Denver, his ten-year-old daughter’s favorite city; names his daughter as manager; and begins the real journey of becoming a true father. Through a brutal awakening in 2001, Arjun Sen realized he did not know his daughter. He promptly quit his highly successful career in the corporate world, started a home based company, and has spent the last eight years building his relationship with his daughter. This heartwarming and witty memoir will bring tears and laughs as it evokes your own cherished family memories.
This book is an eye opening to a lot of parents I think. It’s important to have a relationship with your children and they need to know you are there for them. Not just to support them, and pay for their needs but to be there for them emotionally. Not only can dads appreciate this book but so can moms. I would definitely read this book. I am curious about this book and from what I have read it’s a great inspiration to all parents.

This sounds like a really interesting book and definitely something that really isn’t talked about in society. Fatherhood is an unsung journey in America.
