On PinkTogether.com everyone can share hope by posting and reading inspiring stories of breast cancer survivors and supporters within the community.
The site is part of Pink Together®, a national campaign to support those impacted by breast cancer and to help raise awareness of the disease. To support Pink Together, General Mills is donating $2 million to Susan G. Komen for the Cure® and is turning the packaging pink next month on an assortment of its most beloved brands. General Mills will also donate $1, up to $20,000, each time you post a comment of encouragement, send a virtual flower bouquet or share a story on PinkTogether.com in October.
If you have a moment head on over to PinkTogether.com and read some of the inspiring stories. You can also watch these short videos from the 2009 Pink Together Survivor Ambassadors who talk about their journeys with breast cancer.

My great grandmother is the woman who inspired me the most in my life. She went through a lot in her life, including burying all 3 of her children. She was the strongest woman I’ve ever met, and I was blessed to have her in my life for 26 years.

Both my grandmother and mother have been diagnosed with breast cancer, and instead of having a pity party, they are actually doing good with it all! My mom is actually training for a marathon! These 2 women are my inspiration!

My Mom & my Grandma are my inspirations…My Mom passed away from breast cancer when she was 47 yrs old & is still the love of my life. My Grandma is the strongest, funniest, greatest person on this planet. The world is a better place because of her!!!

my grandmother inspired me
i had a friend with breast cancer diagnosed too late and although she lost her life to it, she was inspiring in that she never lost her faith during the ordeal and gave a strong fight

I posted my story on Pink Together. I lost my daughter to breast cancer and I have never seen anyone with her courage. She kept me from falling apart during her treatments and during her last days with us. I miss her everyday.

My grandmother inspires me the most. She is 98 years old. Has outlived her husband, raised 8 boys, and still lives in her own home and takes care of herself. Very independent and So Full of Life! I am truly inspired by her.

My mother is an incredible woman of strength and courage. She has survived the devastating loss of a child (my sister) and her husband. Recently she was diagnosed with pre-cancerous breast tissue and flat out said “I am not going to let the devil rob me of my JOY”

I like the inspiring stories of women defeating breast cancer.
I’m inspired by my 85-year-old friend who goes to yoga classes with me and has a more active social life than I do!
My aunt is a breast cancer survior. She went through a double masectomy and chemo and then a hyserectomy. During this whole process she never complained once and encouraged everyone around her. I just recently went through a surgery on my neck and she always knows what to say and reminds me that it could always be worse. She is one of the women in my life that I look up to.

My aunt inspires me. After almost being killed in a car accident last year, she has made an almost full recovery. Her determination makes me try harder.

My mother inspires me the most. When our father passed away when my brother was 8 and I was 7 after taking care of him through cancer, she took over being mother and father without blinking an eye. She is an amazing parent, a beautiful strong woman, and a great human being.

My two instructional assistants. They get paid dirt, for a tough job with little credit from others. They do the job with caring and professionalism. I’m blessed.
I am inspired how all of the families of survivors and families that have lost a loved one come together to still support those recently diagnosed. Those who have lost a loved one are such an inspiration that they continue to carry on the legacy of their loved ones and support the cause.
