New Year Resolutions

Today is January 1st 2010! I can not believe we are in a new year! Samantha turns 7 in nine days and I am just speechless at how fast time is going by.

Today is the day that many, many people are making New Year Resolutions. In our family we like to call them Goals. We spent a good few hours this morning going over our goals for the new year.

I of course have my own “Goals” I’d like to accomplish this year!

  • Get Into Shape. I know, this has been my goal for the past 3 years years and although it starts off great one day ruins it for me.  I plan to write down what I eat and keep track of my food intake. This will make me accountable. Fit into this.
  • Get on my Treadmill Daily. Again, this is something that I know doing will help me get into shape.  Every morning I plan to wake up 30 minutes earlier to exercise.
  • Run a Marathon. Megan and I are training together to run a mini-marathon in April.
  • Earn Money & Save It. I cna make a pretty nice chunk of change through my blog. I plan to take that money I earn and save it.
  • Drink More Water.  no brainer there.
  • Create an Office. I need to create an office space for myself and use it. No more being lazy and sitting on the couch.
  • Organizer my Home. The house is a mess and the rooms upstairs need to be repainted.
  • Focus on God More.  “You are my all in all”

I’ll update my list as I think of them.

What are your Goals & Resolutions for 2010?

Those are GREAT! HAPPY NEW YEAR 2010!!!

  3. Your goals sound very similar to my own. 🙂 (We call them goals too.)

I pretty much completed the getting into shape goal last year (127.5 lbs lost and 10 pounds left to go), so this year I am focusing on some other goals that are important to me.

I have a 7 year old daughter too. It’s amazing how fast they grow!

I don’t usually do any resolutions. I do make a list of goals though, but have yet to do that for 2010. Thanks for the post to get me motivated!

Happy New Year. Thanks for leaving me your link, they are very similar to mine. That’s amazing that you are training to run a marathon. That’s gotta be great for taking off the weight. I’m not approved for anything vigorous yet. Crazy hysterectomy.

Hope to see you at something this year. Going to any conventions? I’m going to blissdom and blogher just to go to New York

Your goals are ones we all could be inspired to follow. I wish them all for you this year. My niece turns 7 on the 10th & today we celebrate my Mom & her 85th! Yep, times just flies. Oh wait til your my age, I feel like I should be getting ready for Christmas, it comes that fast! LOL

  9. Can I just steal your list, cause they all apply to me, too! Except for the making money off the blog thing. I am a new blogger, and I don’t think anyone reads my posts, let alone pays me for them!
