Nervous for Dr. Appointment tomorrow!
Tomorrow have an appointment with my Dr. to have the cyst/cartilage buildup removed from my left year. I have had for something like 9 years. Basically I let a friend do a cartilage piercing that made a buildup of something. I have no idea what it is called but I have an appointment tomorrow to have it frozen off.
It never bugged me until this past year. Sam and her friends, and basically the older kids at school ask me about it. I think it’s sad that here I am a 26 year old women is still letting others make me feel bad about myself and how I look.

anyways, I am nervous but excited. I haven been wanting o have it removed for the past few years but never made a point to see my Dr. about it.
If it came to be after a piercing, it is most likely a keloid.

I know how you feel. I have a whole inside my the top part of my ear where the skin of my ear is attached to my head. I used to tell kids that I baby sat that my brains leaked out there. They used to look at me with eyes wide. Of course I wouldn’t tell them that now. LOL My son recently noticed that I have a chicken pox scar on my face. Kids notice everything!

One my friends has that as well, but it’s much worse off than yours. Did it ache?
I have something similar and am looking to get it removed. What kind of Dr. should I see and about how much did it cost??
Hi Paige, your fmaily dr. should be able to remove things like this. Most insurances cover the cost as well. Good luck!

Hi it is up in Lake Arrowhead CA, most dr offices can do it.
