MommyMandy is Going on Vacation!

Tomorrow we are leaving bright and early and taking a trip to Texas! We are so excited and can’t wait to see everything a long the way.

What are some things we should check out on the way from Southern California to Texas?

Here are a few places I have bookmarked

  • Kartchner Caverns in Benson Arizona
  • Tombstone Arizona

But I’d LOVE ideas and places we HAVE to stop at!!! Once we get to Texas we have so many things we want to do and see! So excited and we can’t wait!

Have fun guys! I have only been to Texas by plane to the southern end once to visit my dad. We went to the Alamo and the Riverwalk at San Antonio, but not the funnest places for little girls. We’ve been trying to plan a visit to friends that moved down from Wisconsin a while ago so will be looking to see some of your hotspots you find. Safe travels!

San Marcos has 100 outlet stores right off the interstate! What part are yall going to? San Antonio is said to be the best. I been to Sea World there years ago but didn’t get to see the Alamo or Riverwalk 🙁 Somewhere around there they have caves you can go and explorer. New Braunfels has a water park. My brother in law lived in Austin and he said there is lots to see and do there. I would love to see what all you get to do. I want to take a trip to Texas soon!

We visited my sister-in-law who lives in Texas, but we drove from Il. Wrong direction sorry no help. We really didn’t do many sight seeing trips when we were there. We visited an airplane museum that was pretty interesting and we went to the beach of course. Otherwise most of our trip was visiting with relatives.
Hope you have a safe and enjoyable trip!
