One memory I have is of my daughter in awe of a fiberoptics Christmas tree when she was 19 months old. She would go up to it like she was trying to figure out how it worked then just squeal! It was SO cute! :-)

My happy holiday memories are when my son was young. I bought lots of small things so he had more presents to open since the only other family we had were his Grandma and Grandpa. He would get so excited and tear through everything. I always took pictures of the tornado damage when he was done.

One Christmas we were blessed by our community with many many gifts for our children. Every Christmas is tough because we have kids with medical/special needs, but that year they were diagnosed with severe medical problems. Our kids were so excited to receive so many gifts.
Our kids would love this DVD. Thanks for the giveaway!

One of our Happy Holiday moments with our children was the last Christmas was when they were ages 3, 4 and 10 months. We had bought the 3 and 4 yr old twin battery operated Jeeps, for Christmas, after letting them get use to driving them in the house we took them to an open field, next to our house, and let them just go crazy driving. I will never forget how much fun we had. I stood there in the chilly air, laughing and thanking God for that one special moment that I will never forget.

One happy memory with River is from the Christmas he had just turned two. We were unwrapping presents and watching Elmo’s Christmas Countdown on tv. He kept running up to the tv exclaiming, “Elmo mom-mom”! Then he would walk around the room just like Big Bird without bending his knees, singing, “Laaaaaa La La”!!!! at the top of his lungs. It was really cute. We had a heck of a time keeping him interested in opening the gifts, lol! :) Back then he was our only child. This will be our first Christmas with two and I can’t wait to see what funny, sweet memories are in store for our family.

Every Thanksgiving, Santa sends our family elf to stay with us to make sure all little kids are being good. His name is Alowishes and he lives in the Christmas tree! But he can be found sitting on the couch or swinging from the chandelier. It is wonderful to see little faces light up and little eyes darting to try and see him! My 3 grown kids loved him and now my 6 yr old does, too! My granddaughter has her own elf, Jedidiah.

The first Christmas having a child was the most magical holiday. Unfortunately my husband didn’t have the same feeling and wanted to eat breakfast before opening gifts. I was so upset that he didn’t want the baby to dive in. The baby and I had already eaten but when we finally put the Christmas music on and watched the baby open every single present we were thrilled. It was the best Christmas of my life at the time and each one after has been even more magical.

Last year right before Christmas I had to go in for emergency surgery on my knee and was in the hospital for 3 days right before Christmas so money was tight. I explained to our three kids 6,6, and 2 that Santa fell behind this year and he might not be able to bring all the presents this year that he did last year. They kinda looked down for a little then Kelsy 6, said” It’s ok daddy as long as you get better and I get to spend Christmas with you and mommy then that’s all that really counts” I could not believe my ears. Now we try are hardest to raise our kids to think of others instead of them selves but I never though it would take! I just hugged her and told her I would talk to Santa and see what he could do. Luckily I was able to talk to the hospital and was able to push the bills back until after Christmas and was able to give them the Christmas they deserve. I was then and will always thank God for the gift he has given me. Even if we do not win the giveaway thank you for letting me remember this memory so close to Christmas with all the hustle in life it is easy to forget little memories like this so thanks it has been a gift in it self.
