Lands’ End Chino Challenge

When I was asked if I wanted to pick a pair of Chinos from Lands’ End the very first thing I thought of was “how will those be comfortable as a stay at home mom?”

So I figured why not, lets see if we can make these work. I picked the Women’s Fit 1 Stretch Boot-cut Chino Pants  in Khaki. They definitely are not low rise but that’s ok. I was shocked at how comfortable they were. Since it’s still about 100 degrees here in Austin I rolled the pant leg up. I figured they would work great for fall and winter but rolling up the legs or keeping them down depending on the weather.

Now, when it came to what top to wear I normally would grab one of my nursing tops but I also like to layer tops.

So I layered a long rib tank from Old Navy with a loose fitting button down Henley. The top is nice and loose to make nursing easy.

Being a stay at home mom most of the time my clothes consist of sweats and nursing tops. It was so nice to find clothes that are comfortable and I can wear around the house. The Chinos are made of Cotton twill fabric has a hint of stretch and are super comfortable. I actually forgot I was wearing “real” pants, it felt like I was wearing yoga pants!

I think it’s important for moms, especially those who stay at home or work from home know that you can still find comfortable clothing that looks great and feels great. say good bye to the every day yoga pants!

Head on over to and check out their great selection of Chinos.
