The past few weeks I have had a pretty rough time soothing Shelby. Half of it is because she is teething and another half I think is from her hitting a “wonder week” (growth spurt). I have tried just about everything to sooth her, and rock her and one of the only things that has been soothing to her is the Kids II Ingenuity Cozy Coo Sway Seat.
The Cozy Coo Sway Seat was really easy to put together, and the one thing I noticed right away is that it has an AC adapter and you don’t have to use batteries!!! (Of course you can if you have no access to a power outlet).
I also loved the colors. It fits great for boys and girls and babies of all sizes. It includes a newborn cushion which we do use for Shelby so her head doesn’t flop around, and it’s perfect for my nephew who is 2 months old to use when he is visiting.
I also love the compact size. It isn’t huge and doesn’t take up a lot of room. But it sits high enough off the ground to keep you from having to bend way down to put the baby in or take out of the seat.
Another feature we really like is that the seat vibrates and sways at the same time, or if you only want it to sway you can have the vibrate off. You can also turn on the music and adjust the volume to what is comfortable for you and baby.
The Kids II Ingenuity Cozy Coo Sway Seat has a five point harness which keeps the baby nice and snug in the seat, when the baby starts to roll over you can be assured that they wont be able to flip over or out with this harness. Although I will say I found the straps so complicated. Maybe I was putting the seat cover on wrong, but I had to undo the top part of the straps and then re-hook them up after I did the snaps on the backside of the seat.
We absolutely love this seat. We love that it cradles Shelby and she can snuggle in the seat. She sleeps the longest in the seat and we are so glad to have found it. I only wish we would have had it from day one with Shelby!
While it does not do the same thing as a swing it is pretty comparable to a swing, in my opinion. We actually use this instead of a swing (our swing was broken during our move to Texas).
The Kids II Ingenuity Cozy Coo Sway Seat is best for babies 0-6 months and up to 18 lbs. Shelby is around 16 lbs now.
