Built for kids, not just aimed at them, Kidoodle.TV is designed specifically for the use and navigation by kids (ages 12 and under), ensuring an age-appropriate viewing experience.

When I first learned about Kidoodle.TV I was really excited, I figured it was going to be a great way for my kids to watch shows that are completely age appropriate and I don’t have to worry about them watching programs that for adults.

Setting up your account is really easy! For any Apple user just head on over to Kidoodle.TV to create your account. What’s even great is for the rest of the month you can try it FREE!

Parental controls include age category filtering and title selection and de-selection, which allows parents to tailor available content to each child’s needs. Once logged into Kidoodle.TV, parents simply select a Kid Profile and hand off the navigation to the child.

Once logged into the parental control section “parents room” (you log in with a special pin number) you are able to create accounts for your kids. This allows you to select shows that are age appropriate.

Kidoodle.TV features content appropriate for its audience and is free of advertising within the service. Kidoodle.TV also offers the freedom and diversity of Internet access but with parameters built in to assist with child safety. Before handing over the iPad or iPhone parents can also select how long kids can watch shows.

When your kids are logged into their selected account they will get a full list of their shows. I love that I can put all the toddler shows in one spot for Shelby to see.

Kidoodle.TV is $4.99 after January 1st. With unlimited streaming of Kidoodle.TV for $4.99 per month, subscribers may allow 5 profiles to access Kidoodle.TV on multiple devices.

Kidoodle.TV is only available as a live stream from the web so unless you are connected to the internet (like on your iPhone or web enabled iPad) you can;t use Kidoodle.TV on the go. I do plan to put Kidoodle.TV on my iPhone so my kids can still watch shows on the go!

Try Kidoodle.TV for FREE and enter by December 31, 2013 to win 1 of 10 tablets or 1 of 10 Kidoodle.TV year-long subscriptions!

To enter the giveaway, go to Kidoodle.TV to sign up for a free trial. Follow the on-screen directions and submit!

Be sure to also follow Kidoodle>TV on Facebook and Twitter to stay up to date on any promos or special deals going on.

  1. I love that it offers kids to watch shows that are completely age appropriate and I don’t have to worry about them watching programs that for adults. Great review, thank-you!

  2. Seems like a great way to allow your impressionable child to watch tv and not be inundated with advertisements and commercials for toys, medications , etc…

  3. Something that is affordable and great for parents to have some control over the viewing. My kids are actually teens now but until recently had a live in grandchild and also daycare kids here, including another grandchild. I tell you, there is a LOT of stuff on TV and online you do NOT want kids into. Thank God there are services like this available for parents these days.

  4. I really like the parents control so you can choose what is and what is not appropriate for your kids. Looks like fun.

  5. Wow, this looks really neat! My kids watch Netflix on the iPad a lot but I love that this one has a great selection and you can set a time limit!

  6. I just told my sister about this after reading about it a week ago. I think she may be interested for her grandchildren

  7. (Kidoodle.TV – Free month of December #MC) Wow! This would be great to have for the little one’s, looks like a lot of fun too.

  8. Oh Carter would really enjoy this! I love that they have Chuck and friends! Carter really loves that show with Rowdy the garbage truck!

  9. This looks great for my 2 granddaughters (sisters). The 3 year old would enjoy Zoo Babies and the 8 year old would love Matilda.
