K-Y Brand Intimacy Experiment Day Five: Fun and Games

Think your sex life needs to mirror a romance novel? Think again! Don’t get us wrong: We’re all for sex that’s passionate, romantic, and meaningful. But sometimes, you just want to let loose, be goofy, and have fun between the sheets. As you learned yesterday, too much comfort can be a roadblock to hot sex. But, as you’ll discover through today’s exercises, being secure in your relationship can also be a benefit: You’re more likely to relax and try new things without feeling embarrassed about looking silly.

During the day do an activity together that is different, maybe visiting a park or going out to lunch.

While today we were not able to do the daytime activity since Hubby had to work, but tonight I can not wait to play the fun game with index cards and playing cards.  Basically have a little fun with a game and do whatever you want for the night.

I wrote this posting while participating in a blog campaign on behalf of K-Y® Brand and also received product samples to help facilitate my review. In addition, K-Y® Brand sent me a gift card to thank me for taking the time to participate.

  1. I’m going to take your advice and plan something next week we can both enjoy doing together-we can get in a rut doing the same thing everyday.

  2. I learned about “K-Y Brand Intimacy Experiment” from the Rachel Ray Show 2/14/11. It grabed my interest. I’ve been married for 40 yrs and feel it’s never to late to bring the intimacy back as long as the love for one another is still there.
I refuse to use facebook and trying get my hands on the download of K-Y BIE. Can you help or email it? I would really appreciate it. Thanks

  3. Boy…these tips sound like straight from a marriage counselor and not a company…how great they are!!! I agree that you have to make time for ‘together’ fun time as a couple. So easy to become stagnant and dull. I think doing fun things together as a day trip or overnight vacation even can do much for a relationship! Funny, our favorites are going fishing (hmmm…not in the dark though…LOL) and indoor fun is playing card games!
