We just purchased our Toyota Camry back in December. We really needed to get a bigger sedan that was still great on gas so my husband thought the Camry would be a great car for me to have over my current Corolla. I am actually NOT a fan of car shopping. When my husband and I start talking about cars he literally points to every car we see driving and asks me “what do you think of that car?” Or if we are home he will sit on the computer and browse cars. And of course that means every 20 minutes or so he is calling me to look at them.
With the Camry we actually called the dealership ahead of time and told them to find cars that fit our criteria that way when we got there all we had to do is test drive them and pick which one we liked best. Of course we still spent over FIVE hours in the dealership.
Just yesterday we stopped off at Toyota to pick up brochures on the Highlander and possibly trading in the Truck for one. Of course I am already stressing about sitting in a dealer for hours and negotiating and haggling.
Thankfully Edmunds has the cure for stressful car shopping, and will be showing it off during its Car Week event, June 9-15.
Car Week will connect shoppers in the Los Angeles and New York metro areas to hundreds of local dealers that are offering prices at or below Edmunds.com’s True Market Value®, representing savings that are, on average, thousands of dollars off sticker price.
Look at the info-graphic below… car shoppers really DO hate car shopping!
Participating dealers will offer no-haggle, up-front pricing on all new car inventory through Edmunds Price PromiseSM, and will feature other offers that best meet the needs of their customers. More details are at Edmunds.com’s Car Week page.
This is a great opportunity to get into that car you want without the haggle and stress of car shopping!!!
