Is Your Family Prepared? Red Cross Radio by Eton

With Tornado season in full swing, families should think about whether or not they have steps in place to be prepared in case of an emergency. Three important basics to have during an emergency are Light, Information and Energy – three things which are provided with American Red Cross products by Etón Corporation.

Living in California we don’t have to worry about Tornados but we do have to worry about the power going out, especially in the dead of winter when it is snowing so hard the power goes out for hours on end. We end up sitting in the dark with nothing to do. At least with the FR160 Microlink Emergency Radio we can stay entertained with the radio and have light.

The FR160 Microlink Emergency Radio provides all three elements, including a USB port for charging cell phones and other devices from solar energy or a hand-crank:

•    AM & FM bands
•    NOAA weatherband – all 7 channels for local alerts and updates
•    Built-in LED light source
•    Powered by solar or hand crank – both of which charge internal Ni-MH battery
•    USB cell phone charger
•    Earphone jack – 3.5 mm socket

The FR160 Microlink Emergency Radio is one awesome little radio! Just the fact that you can wind it and charge it is so cool. It is perfect for Emergencies but of course would be great for any Summer Travels.

Etón will contribute up to $1.00 of the sales price of each Red Cross product to support the American Red Cross.
