I’m in love with a washing machine that sings to me

Doing laundry has not been my favorite chore. When your married to a Sushi Chef there are a ton of clothes that have to be washed on a DAILY basis. Trust me, you don’t want fish smelling clothes sitting in your laundry hamper any longer than they have to.

Then throw in two active girls who do a lot out door playing, and extra curricular activities you have more laundry to do. One of my daughters hates a tiny stain on her shirt, so she will change twice a day sometimes.

more laundry…..

But when you throw in a half broken washer and dryer in the mix.. like I said doing laundry is my least favorite chore!

When I was informed I would be apart of the Whirlpool Moms Test Drive I was so excited. It usually took me hours to wash and dry our clothes and I was so excited to be able to wash our clothes in half the time.

As soon as our Whirlpool Duet washer and dryer were installed I ran the “clean cycle”.  This took over an hour but at least I knew the washer and dryer were clean! I love that Duet has it’s own built in feature to do a clean cycle for the washing machine.

After the clean cycle was done I couldn’t wait to try out the different built in Laundry Apps that include features like Stain Assist and Hints & Tips that give practical advice on stains and other everyday laundry questions.

Two I knew I wanted to try right away were the Allergen and Kids Wear.

The Whirlpool Duet is very user friendly, yes that means anyone who isn’t very tech savvy can use these machines and find them easy! The dials are pretty self explanatory and depending on what you need to wash there is a cycle for it.

The drums are large and hold a nice size load. The Whirlpool Duet Appliances have NSF Certification, which means that they include “Sanitize” temperature settings to ensure laundry will be 99.9% bacteria free! This is important for everyone in my family. Sarah who has asthma and my hubby being a chef making sure that his clothes don’t have any fish grime or bacteria on them is important.

The Whirlpool Duet Appliances are HE which means HE washers require HE detergent and not nearly as much as most use. More soap does not equal cleaner clothes. It’s also not good for the machines. Precision Dispense Ultra delivers better results by addingthe right amount of detergent every time.

I wrote this review while participating in a test-drive campaign by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Whirlpool and received a complimentary Whirlpool Duet washer and dryer to facilitate my review.
