Huggies Diapers for on the go
Yes we are a cloth diapering family, but when we go on long trips I definitely turn to disposable diapers. Recently when we went to Disneyland I did not want to tote around a bag full of dirty diapers around the park (and in the heat) so disposables were the best option. I am glad that we did take the with us.
Recently, Huggies improved some of their products to perform better for you as you face some of life’s every day messes as a parent! Improvements include:
- Snug & Dry Diapers to include improved Leak Lock protection, promising to keep your little one drier for longer
- Natural Care, One & Done and Simply Clean Wipes to now feature Thick ‘n Clean Layers that help clean more baby with fewer wipes
- hand wipes
This past week we have decided to get out more with the kids and go for walks. Coming up my husband will be home for a few weeks before heading to Texas so we are planning tons of outdoor fun with the kids.
I decided to take a test using the new improved Snug & Dry Diapers with Shelby. The girls wanted to take their bikes out so I out Shelby in a Snug & Dry Diaper and put her in the stroller. She was in the stroller for about three hours just sleeping away. Anytime I have had her in a disposable diaper with a few hours she has wetness on the side of her clothes. I was really happy to see that the Huggies Diaper worked perfect and kept the moisture off her bottom.
One of the things I do not like is the way they feel. I was expecting them to be softer but they sound almost like paper. BUT they work great and I know that when we make the long trip to Texas I will be using these diapers.
The wipes are great! I love the thickness of them and how well they work. At home we use cloth wipes but when we are out and about we use disposable wipes. They make diaper changes super easy and the travel wipes are perfect size for the diaper bag.

I am very excited to try the new Huggies diapers! I think they’ll be especially wonderful for overnight use.
I think Huggies work great, but snug n dry are rough & paper-like. The Huggies pure n’ natural are my favorite. I pretty much only buy Pampers swaddlers now though – they are by far the softest. I am going to be sad when Isla goes up to size 3 and we can’t use them anymore!
Huggies is my favorite brand. I wanted to cloth diaper but I found out I was having twins, I needed more convenience =/
