Holidays at Disneyland

To help kick off the holiday celebrations at Disneyland, Disney invited 50 mommy bloggers, and their families, to attend a weekend of fun at the Disneyland Hotel and Disney Parks in Anaheim.

Yes, we were very excited to be invited and go to the “Happiest Place on Earth”! We did not tell Samantha we were going this weekend as we didn’t want to hear for two weeks “when are we going to Disneyland”, So after picking her up from school on Friday we told her the surprise! She screamed and was VERY excited!

When we arrived at the California Grand Hotel, we were escorted to the conference rooms from cast members and the PR team. I saw Nicole again. I met her when we went to Disneyland for Halloween. When I was waiting in line to check in Christine showed up with her family and I instantly recognized her! It was so fun! The girls were a little shy at first, but within an hour were running around playing and having fun. I invited my dear friend Jillian to come along with me, as she is probably the biggest Disney fan ever! She also has her own blog, and I thought it would be a great time for her and a chance to meet some of my mom blogger friends!

Once inside we were able to take pictures with Minnie Mouse, and Belle was there too. Mickey and Goofy showed up not too long after. The children got to play video games, decorate cookies, cut out reindeer, get air brush tattoos and had some yummy cookies and gigantic snowflake rice krispie treats.

The Mommy Bloggers were invited to learn about all the special treats that Disney offers during the Holidays. (more later)

We were all served a delicious dinner, from spaghetti to prime rib, steaks, and yummy O’dourves.

I had so much meeting new friends and seeing some that I have only wanted to meet in person. We all had a lot of fun! To top off the evening we watched the Fireworks show and then a few of us went and watched Fantasmic!

I’ll share more photos and videos later!
