Holiday Gifts: Jamberry Nails *Giveaway closed*

I was introduced to Jamberry Nails almost a year ago. My very first impression when I saw them was “how stinkin cute”. So many adorable prints all on a nail wrap that seemed easy enough to use.

One of the biggest deciding factors that I wanted to try them out was I have a hard time using nail polish on my nails now due to all the chemicals and other junk inside the nail polish. I was trying to eliminate the amount of toxins I was putting into my body so why not try these nail wraps out.

My biggest fear when I decided to try them was “will they work on my super short nails?” I have been a nail biter all of my life and how could these adorable nail wraps work on such short ugly nails? Well, I bite the bullet and ordered my first sheet. I went with a very simple wrap (that is now retired boo) and instantly fell in love! Since my first try I have been ordering them whenever I feel I need something new.

As you can see I have tried out a large range of Jamberry products and am extremely pleased with every single one of them! From the collegiate wraps, to nail lacquer, even juniors for my 8 year old. They all are great and I can’t complain about anything I have ordered.

Now, how to use Jamberry nail wraps. That is the biggest question I have received from friends and family in person. I will admit my very first time took me a long time to figure out and some frustration. I highly recommend watching a video on youtube on how to apply before you attempt them yourself. Follow the instructions and you shouldn’t have any issues.

Now, when I first ordered I knew I did not have the right scissors to cut the nail wraps so  also purchased the Application Kit . I liked the idea of having a bag to store all of my wraps in, and it comes with everything you need for the perfect #Jmicure.

One rule I learned right away is to cut your sheet of nail wraps before you even begin your jamicure (after you lean off your nails). It makes it so much easier to apply the nail wrap and you wont be wasting anything.  So your sheet comes like this (regular sheet or collegiate):

Cut the sheet in half so you have the two rows on their own. Then cut them again so now you have four halves.  (these are three different wraps that I used for one jamicure)

To find the right wrap to fit your nail you line up the wrap to your nail. Then peel and place on your nail. Now this is where everyone does it differently. Some heat the wrap before applying to the nail. I heat afterwards.

I cut the remaining wrap off as close to my nail as possible, heat. Use the rubber cuticle pusher to push the wrap down all around my nail, heat it using the mini heater. Sometimes you have to go back and file some more (always file your Jamberry Nails up and down). And you are done! It takes me less than five minutes to do my left hand (I am right handed) and a little longer to do my right hand.

Each Jamberry Nail Wrap can be used for two jamicures on your hands and can also be used on your toes! Check out my Pinterest Board to see more Jamberry tricks! If you have any questions please leave a comment and I or my consultant Carran will get back to you asap!

  1. I like the snow ones and the baby blue ones you showed that you tried, Amanda. I gave up having my nails done awhile ago, so it’s good to know something cute I could do myself, and thanks for the YouTube suggestion…..would watch first if I won!

  2. I love the candy canes, they would be adorable for the holidays. After the holidays, I think I’d enjoy something more like peacock, how fun!
