Holiday Crafts: Snowman Glue Tags

I had seen this cute idea on pinterest so I figured why not try it out with the kids!  The girls had a blast using glue and making their own snowman tags.

Once dried you just peel off the foil, hole punch the top. add ribbon and either use glitter glue or paint to write the name and your done!

What you need:

  • White Elmer Glue
  • Aluminum foil
  • hole punch
  • ribbon
  • paint, puff paint, glitter glue

It takes a few minutes to create your glue snowman and at least a day or over night for the glue to dry. Once the glue is dried you just peel it right off!

When you make a hole punch be sure to leave plenty of room at the edge so it doesn’t crack or break off. Add the name anyway you like and let dry.

When your paint/glue is dry you can attach it to your gifts.

This is an excellent fun craft for your kids to do. Most of the time they aren’t involved in wrapping of gifts so being able to make their own tags is fun. Besides, when you give the gift to the recipient the kids will be excited to say “I made that!”

My kids would love doing this, but I have a feeling they would turn out disastrous in my house. My kids wouldn’t be able to leave them alone long enough!
