Holiday 2012: Ninja 3 in 1 Cooking System *Giveaway ends Nov. 30th*
My crock pot is probably one of my favorite appliances to use, especially in the fall and winter. I love prepping a meal in the crock pot early in the day so that by dinner time it’s ready to go.
But with my typical crock pot I am limited on what I can do with it. I wasn’t able to cook various things, or heck even bake in it.
As soon as I saw the infomercial for the Ninja 3 in 1 Cooking System I was sold. Just the basic features on it was more than I could ask for. The new Ninja® Cooking System is the perfect dinnertime solution to help keep your cool – saving time and serving up easy, healthier meals, all from one convenient countertop pot. Now, it’s possible to make complete meals – layering the main course, vegetables, and pasta or rice inside the Ninja® Cooking System pot – in just 30 minutes, even from the freezer, cutting cooking times by as much as 30 to 50 percent.

Steam-Infused Roasting and Baking -Revolutionary steam roasting and baking provides quicker cooking, plus healthier and moister results. Steam-infused roasting cooks meat evenly and cuts the cooking time by up to 30 percent, keeping more natural juices in the meat while taking the bad fat out. Baked goods are more moist too, and can be prepared with up to 50 percent less fat.
Fast One-Pot Meal Making– With Triple Fusion Heat, complete meals can be made in just one single pot. Home cooks can layer meals by cooking dry pasta, veggies and meats all at the same time in the Ninja 3-in-1 Cooking System. Meats cook more evenly and casseroles have a savory and crispy finish, with more crunch on the bottom and sides. Frozen seafood and other frozen items can even be prepared in 30 minutes.
SEAR-ious Slow Cooking –The Ninja Cooking System has both stove top settings and slow cook settings which allows the home cook to use the same pot to sear and brown meats and vegetables to add more flavor to the meal. The stove top can be used after slow cooking to deglaze sauces, and to add delicate vegetables for a perfect texture. The slow-cooker is programmable; allowing you to set the cooking time, which will automatically keep warm once cooking is complete.
With using the Ninja Cooking System I decided that I would start prepping crock pot meals ahead of time each week. So that means on Monday or Tuesdays I spend a good part of the morning cutting up meats and veggies and getting the bags ready to go each week. What I love about prepping the meals ahead of time is that all I have to do is pull out the bag and put it in the Ninja Cooking System, set the time and temperature and were good to go!

You can also use it as a stove top. We do not have any medium size pots so I thought I’d cook some rice in the Ninja. The rice came out perfect!

The chicken soup came out perfect. I cooked it on high so it cooked in four hours but if I had out it on earlier I would have done it on low for eight hours.
To learn more head on over to www.ninjakitchen.com. It makes a wonderful gift for the Holidays!

i’d make a chili
I don’t have a full kitchen, only a kitchenette. I have no oven or stove. My microwave, toaster oven, and crock pot are limited to what they can cook and they crowd up my counter. I would love to get the Ninja Cooking System and replace the other appliances, so that I can make healthy meals for my 6-year-old and me!
I would make the steamed salmon with apricot sauce first. I love that one appliance does multiple things since I don’t have a lot of room.
I would cook a pot roast
I like that the Ninja cooking system uses super heated steam to cook quickly.
I would cook a roast. My favorite feature is that you can cook a complete meal in one pot. Less clean-up for me!

I’d cook soups and stews. I also like the fact that the pot allows for sauteing. And since it’s not a “crock” it won’t break transporting to and from the fridge.

I am SO excited to read about this product! I know it sounds yucky to some but I’d be cooking venison stew in this baby!(and I am excited that my guys might be really into trying this cooking gear too)! I really want to start teaching my 15 year old son to cook at least simple meals before he goes off to school in 3 years…how much simpler is a crock pot meal!!! and I am guessing it cooks Ramen noodles in big hurry;)
My favorite feature would be the steaming feature, but I know my guys would love that we can sear a tougher cut of meat on the stove top and then slow cook it after, such as a venison roast.
