Holiday 2010: HP Mini 110 by Studio Tord Boontje

With all my traveling I love to take my laptop with me. But unfortunately it becomes a hassle most of the time. It gets heavy lugging it around and well a pain in the butt.

Last year I had the chance to check out the adorable HP Mini 110 by Studio Tord Boontje. As soon as I saw it I fell in love with it. It fit perfectly in my purse and weighs only a few lbs.

HP teamed up with designer Tord Boontje to add even more beauty to the Mini 110.

Thanks to HP’s Imprint 3D technology the complex and attractive design of foliage and fauna on the lid has a depth to it. The pattern continues on the inside — the palmrest and trackpad are accented with floral grace notes.

With packaging designed for minimal post-consumer waste, the HP Mini is a great companion PC that lets you be socially conscientious while you stay connected to your friends and your life. Discover and share content while on the go like never before, and look good with the small, sleek design.

The design evokes lace but isn’t so lacy as to put off male consumers. Where the Vivienne Tam edition is aimed at the fashionista set, the Studio Tord Boontje Mini is meant to be a companion for the everyday woman. And where the Vivienne Tam is also priced for the fashionista set, the Studio Tord Boontje starts at $399.

  1. Elizabeth I says:

This is really pretty, would make me consider it an addition to my laptop, especially since I have only boys and crave anything that looks feminine.
