Happy Thanksgiving 2013

Giving-Thanks-in-All-Things

It’s that time of year where families gather together and share what we are thankful for each year. As I sit and think about my last year with my family I am truly blessed.

A year ago I spent Thanksgiving with my Brother and Sister (and families), I met new family members, and we celebrated babies who had been born earlier last year. While I am not with them again this year my love with with each and every one of my siblings.

This past year has been life changing for sure with a move to Texas, then back to California and then in January back to Texas. It has been a trial, and there has been a lot of tears shed, but I wouldn’t change the past year.

I have enjoyed watching my daughters make new friends, excel in their activities and to start finding the little person they are meant to be.

We have watched the baby grow, learn to talk and to start becoming an independent toddler. She loves to dance and talk. Although her favorite word has quickly become “no”.

Samantha has grown so much over the year and I am thankful for the sweet and generous young tween she has become. She always puts other’s feelings before her own.

Sarah has come out of her shell this past year. We don’t see our quiet calm sissy anymore. Now we have a loud, confident and energetic 8 year old!

I am very thankful for the love and support of my family. This year I got a new sister when my brother got married, I adore all my sisters and brothers and love seeing our family grow.

I am also very thankful for my dearest friends who have been there when I need them, to laugh, to cry, have fun, celebrate together and well be goofballs together too.

I am very blessed in my life to have such caring people, who not only care about me but also my family.
