Happy 7th Birthday Sammy Pie!

I can not believe my “Baby” is 7!!! SEVEN!!!

Yesterday Sam had her 7th Birthday Party and had so much fun. We had a total of 15 kids and they all played games, decorated tank tops and sang their little hearts out.

I still remember the day she came into my life. Jan 10th 2003 I became a mom.  When I was 19 weeks pregnant with Sam we were told she was a boy. For the next 20 weeks we thought we were having a son and planning for a boy. Everything we had was blue…..

3 minutes after Sam was born, I lifted the blanket and saw no “boy parts”…. “IT’S A GIRL!!!” I said… you could hear they entire room say “NO!!!!” Barb started crying, she was so excited to have a grand daughter. It was a whirlwind that day. Everyone rushed out to buy pink!

Now pictures from Sam’s Birthday Party & Sam throughout the years:

  1. Happy birthday to her! She is just a beauty isn’t she? My oldest is turning 11 next month and I’m feeling slightly old now. LOL It helps though that my youngest will turn 1 the same day, he doesn’t let me dwell on the fact that Jordan is going to be 11. LOL

    1. She is so beautiful. ANd this happened to US too! We thought we were having a boy…had ALL blue bought as we had gotten rid of all baby stuff and then decided to add one more angel to our family. WELL, the poor little thing wasnt named for 2 days!!! Finally her older sister got to make the final decision. And now she is 10…MY baby.

Your daughter is beautiful…through the years. She actually is the spitting image of our little neighbor girl!

      Many more happy Birthdays SAM!
