Last Friday I had the opportunity to check out the Grand Opening of the new JCPenney at the Inland Center Mall. I have never been to a Grand Opening event and this was a a lot of fun, crazy crowded but everyone was excited and in good spirits!
The all-new store location will boast the most engaging store environment in the Company’s fleet, featuring sought-after brands such as Arizona®, Liz Claiborne®, Nike®, Disney® and much more. The new store includes Sephora inside JCPenney, the ultimate beauty destination, offering a wide assortment of prestige beauty products in a unique open-sell environment. The Salon by InStyle concept perfectly complements the new store, offering an elevated environment for professional hair care by stylists trained to deliver an advanced approach to cuts, color and client service. The Inland Center store will also have over 100 major appliances on display, showcasing refrigerators, ranges, dishwashers, washers and dryers from great brand names such as Samsung, LG and GE.
Everyone was extremely excited to meet celebrity Maite Perroni who even said a few words during the Ribbon Cutting! She also was inside signing autographs (that line went around the entire bottom floor of JCPenney)
The line walked around the entire mall, everyone was so excited to be some of the first 100 people to get in on the giveaways! Apparently some guests had camped out since Thursday night just to be first in line! JCPenney and Sephora Inside Gift Cards were given away to the first 100 customers in line.
I ran into a few of those lucky recipients as we waited in line to check out the new Salon In Style which offers a full range of Salon goodies, from hair cuts, to the color bar (you get to watch your stylist mix your color right there in front of you), waxing, manicures and even hair cuts for toddlers!
Sephore was one of the hot places to check out and there was a lot of workers there ready to help you! Sephora has a huge selection just as you would expect when you walk into a free standing Sephora store.
Upstairs was the children’s department with lots of Disney! I was surprised to see such a large selection for Men. The section was huge and you can find a little bit of everything. I also love that the inside entrance to JCPenney is right by the kid play area. Right now they have some amazing deals going on too!
To help celebrate, Suite 106 Cupcakery, will be there with their food truck handing out Free Cupcakes to the first 300 customers. Also there was a local band playing as well as the 66ers baseball mascot Bernie was there!
If you’re in the Inland Empire head on out and check out the new JCPenney at the Inland Center Mall! Lots of great items including appliances! We are super excited for a convenient location to head out to!
