I like to spend time with my family exploring the outdoors (there are lots of great things to see here in Arizona), and playing board games weekly. My family usually has a game night on Thursday nights just for us. We also have movie nights on Monday nights.

As mother of a large busy family it is rare that we have time with all of us together. Right now we are all together, and we like to sing together. We will be singing at a benefit concert this evening and I look forward to it. Eating meals together is very important to us. We recently were introduced to the wii by my mother who has one, and now we are planning to get one. I was impressed at the amount of physical effort that it takes, and we can all use more exercise.

We play Wii games and watch movies together.
We cook together — almost every night. One of my favorite times of the day is when we’re all home, after work/school, in the kitchen. Our eldest sits at the table doing homework, while the little one helps us with dinner preparations. Then the older one sets the table. I know it seems dull…but it actually gives us a lot of quality converation time — unlike our ritual of reading at bedtime (which really is about winding down and snuggles).
