Energizer Solar Spotlight

When we were traveling a few weeks ago we decided to take everything we could think we needed. We weren’t sure if we were going to go camping or not but we packed a tent, blankets, ice chest… everything, including the Energizer Solar Spotlight.

Energizer Solar lights leverage the latest technology to deliver advanced, renewable lighting solutions. Energizer’s hybrid platform harnesses the power of sunlight, with the added benefit of alternative energy through batteries, self-powered winding or car charging. Designed for both outdoor and emergency use, Energizer Solar lights offer a unique combination of renewable power and exceptional performance.

We love the Energizer Solar Spotlight. The fact that it runs off solar power and not batteries is awesome. And, who would have thought it would light up our tent like this:

Features and Benefits:

  • Dual Energy Source:
-Rechargeable batteries powered by solar panel or Car Adapter
  • 5 Hours of full sun powers light for 3.5 hours
  • 2 hours of charging with AC car adapter powers light for 2 hours
  • Water Resistant

  1. My parents live in a very rural area. This would allow them to do outdoor chores after dark. On a farm there are always things you are forced to do after the sun goes down.

  2. Our family would use the Solar Energy Spotlight for use when we lose our power during Hurricane season.

  3. We live in Florida, so this would be used during the rainy season (when we FREQUENTLY lose our power) and during hurricane season! A SOLAR powered flashlight would be great since batteries become hard to find before and after a hurricane!

  4. I would use the Energizer Solar Spotlight for my earthquake kit and for ALL my flashlight needs around the house (attic, etc) because I *never* seem to have a working flashlight (batteries and I don’t seem to get along well)!

  5. WE JUST BOOKED A SITE FOR CAMPING NEXT MONTH SO I WOULD DEFINATELY TAKE IT THERE

  6. We would use it for when the electricity goes out due to storms. altern147 [at] yahoo [dot] com

  7. My husband was looking at one of these in store for Father’s Day and he could not get because we did not have the money today. Maybe I can win one for him. Hope to win!!!

  8. I am in the army and I am stationed in georgia, we do a lot of field problems out in the woods so it would definatly be a great use to me then and it would help me help our country.

  9. We would definately use it to light the path for the late night trips home from the dock to the car…

  10. Im sure the kids would use it for their back yard adventures in the dark but us adults would use it for when the power goes out (which it does quite a bit where we live) and I would be happy to have something that I didnt have to search for batteries for in the dark.

  11. We would use it in case of a power outage. I’ve been wanting something like this for a long time for that reason and also we usually go grocery shopping at night like in the am. And it’s always so dark, especially coming home and up the stairs, plus sometimes we see possums outside the house and it would be great to have this to help us see where we’re walking.

  12. finding the bathroom while we’re camping! i’m sick of tripping in pot holes in the lawn to find the outhouse.

  13. It would be used as a normal flashlight with the added benefit of providing light when/if the power was off.

  14. We would use it as an emergency light, as all the battery flashlights seem to grow legs.

  15. seems handy enough to use for variety of occasions, auto emergencies at nite, power outages during severe weather, morning chores befor sun comes up…and many more i can think of

  16. I have 3 little girls that love to go on night adventures in our yard with our flashlights and look for treasures that daddy has hidden.

  17. This would be great to have for camping and times when I have to go out in the dark late of a night.

  20. We would really use this for camping, and also for emergencies when our power goes out.

  21. My family is taking our first camping trip at the end of the month so this would be perfect 🙂

  22. We would use this when we ‘camped’ in our backyard.

we’d also use it for going into the woods in our backyard. It’s a lot of fun to walk blind and then find out where we are and what exactly we’re looking at.
    thanks so much!

  23. We would use this for the grandkids campouts in the backyard!

  25. power otages, walking around the property at night, fixing the ink under cabinet, no light there

  26. we would surely use this for camping and it would also be great when my hubby works on our car

  27. Ha ha. I would honestly use it when I take my dog’s at night out to go potty. I live in the country, and tend to hear noises.

  28. I would carry this in my car so it would always be there whether I’m camping or have the occasional car problem in the middle of the night.

  29. I think this would be wonderful when one’s car breaks down – to see what’s wrong with it- it looks like it could certainly make it easier to do something like change a spare tire!
    Thanks for the giveaway!

  30. My son lives on the family farm. Quite often, he has to go out after dark, if only to walk his dog. He could have this flashlight on his front stoop. Then, he’d always have a light ready. He could use it for power outages, also, which happen quite often.

  31. We would use the a Energizer Solar Spotlight for camping & also for in my house during power outages!

  32. I would keep this with our emergency supply kit for storms and such. perfect for it!
