Recently we had the chance to review two of the new games from Elefun & Friends collection from Hasbro!
- GIRAFFALAFF LIMBO is the crazy new game of “how low can you go?” Spin the dial to try one of the 6 limbo styles: classic limbo, crab walk, crawl, giraffe walk, bend forward or backward. The game´s built-in sound will play an encouraging song as preschoolers try not to bump into Giraffalaff. If he´s knocked over, he´ll roll on the floor in laughter. The player that passes under Giraffalaff at the lowest level wins.
- In SCATTERPILLAR SCRAMBLE kids will do their best to balance marbles in the hands of one very wiggly caterpillar. Kids will have fun dancing along to the music with Scatterpillar in this fast-paced marble game. The first player to securely place all 8 marbles in Scatterpillar´s hands wins. SCATTERPILLAR SCRAMBLE was named the 2009 Preschool Game of the Year by Creative Child Magazine.

My two (soon to be 3) year old likes to play concert. He takes his toy guitar, adjusts his make believe microphone, and clicks the imaginary pedal to get good distortion. Yeah…he mimics his brothers down to the minute details. I sometimes get to join in and sing with him, and sometimes I have to be the audience and clap. He lets me know which role I am to play. Would love the elefun games for him and his brother.

Some of our favorite active playtimes include playing “family”. My 5 year old daughter always gets to be the Mom, while I have to be the baby or kid! Sometimes I get to be the baby sitter. My son gets to be the Dad or another kid. I love their imaginations!

We run around the house after our two-year-old who thinks it’s the funniest thing to try and get away from us and dodge us to get by.
We like to race the wind up chattering teeth. It always gets us laughing. Another thing we do is laughter yoga.
When I get my 9 grandchildren together we bring out the Candyland DVD Game to play. Its so funny seeing the kids hop from color to color. It starts to get quite crowded and its funny to watch. Thank you!

My son and I like to “race” down our hallway. He insists on starting the race so he says, “on your mark” and takes small scoot forward…”get set” and I pull him back… “go” and I pick him up while he’s “running”. He looks like a cartoon character. It makes us laugh.
Every Fall we rake the leaves up into big piles and then have leaf-fights. It’s hilarious fun, and even our toddler joins in.

We like to bring out a parachute and play all sorts of bounce and catch games.
My family and I LOVE to play ‘rock dance’. My hubby turns on his crazy music and we all dance in the living room for like an hour. He teaches the kids his silly and funky moves and we all have a good time.

Whenever we play Twister, we always laugh like crazy.
We play a very silly game called “Sock off”…everyone sits in a circle and someone yells “Sock off”, everyone then tries to get each others socks off. The last person with their socks on wins.
Every afternoon after nap we dance our sillies out. The kids love it

We love runny around the yard and being goofy.
We like to chase eash other around. Mostly it is me chasing her saying “Mommy is gonna get you!”. She laughs and tried to get away.
My 3 year old daughter likes to steal the baby’s burp rag, wrap it around her shoulders, and run through the house being a super hero! Too cute!
Every Friday night our 4 kids ages 8, 7, 4, & 2 have a Cinderella Ball in the playroom and we all dress up and dance.
Daddy likes to carry my son around on his shoulders, the tickle monster attacks often, we golf,we make up songs, we do all kinds of silly things with our son! My son loves to play board games, and he has been asking for Elefun for some time now! Thanks for the chance to win one!
Lately we have been playing scary hide-and-seek. Lesson learned: If you are potty training, do not scare your child while he is wearing big boy underwear.

We love moving all of the furniture and playing tag in the house.
My 4 year old is into imaginative play. We have little voices whenever we play. It’s fun to see how his mind works and I get a kick out of how funny he can be.
All I have to do is reach my hand out like I’m going to tickle my kids and they start laughing, giggling, screeching…it’s cute.

Each one of my kids has been totally different. My older son and daughter used to want to dance all the time and twirl. We would just spin around the room listening to music every day. My younger daughter loves to play games. Hungry Hippo is her favorite and I think she just loves it because it is loud.
We gave the kids fingerpaints, luckily we did it on the porch because it got everywhere! The kids had a ball putting their very colorful hand and footprints all over.
