We are getting closer to that one year mark of Cloth Diapering Shelby. My biggest issue I have had was washing the cloth diapers! I did so much research before Shelby was born on Cloth I thought I would be a pro at it. But our Diaper routine has not been easy! I always had a hard time finding the right detergent with the water we had. In Texas months after living there I learned we had hard water and I never could get the diapers clean enough. Then we dealt with a possible yeast infection and stripping the diapers.
You never think you will be the one to have to deal with all these things but when you do you have to turn to trusted sites and resources! One site I learned about in the beginning of our Cloth Diapering was Diaper Daisy. What I liked from the start was their huge selection of products but they had a few different articles on getting started with cloth and washing your cloth diapers. Also for anyone in Kansas City can visit the Kansas City Baby Store.
Diaper Daisy carries so many products that I already love and use so I was beyond excited to be picked as the Diaper Daisy Blogger! I knew right away I wanted to try out the Eco Sprout Detergent.
Eco Sprout Detergent is an eco-friendly, all natural detergent that’s great for your entire family, and SAFE for cloth diapers & sensitive skin. It will clean and disinfect your diapers while rinsing clean. No more battling with eye-watering ammonia smells, as Eco Sprout dramatically helps neutralize the odor.
When I first used Eco Sprout I was expecting to do my usual two washed with about 5-6 rinses and then sometimes another wash and rinse on my diapers. I knew that every wash and rinse was putting extra wear on my diapers but I had to make sure they were clean enough. I just never felt the diapers were getting clean with other detergents and I loved how birght my diapers looked after using Eco Sprout.
One of the things I know shows a nice clean diaper is no leaks and no rash. I really liked Eco Sprout and hope that it stays as our go to detergent.
I also love that the back of the Eco Sprout Detergent tells you how to wash Cloth Diapers!
If your new to Cloth Diapers then I suggest that you check out Diaper Daisy’s Cloth Diaper Trials. Trials are great for those who don’t know what diapers you will like or will fit with your baby.
