Easy Sugar Cookie Recipe

I am not a Sugar Cookie fan. In fact I usually stay away from them, but I knew that the girls would have fun decorating them and what is Christmas without some Sugar Cookies? Now I wanted to use an easy recipe that would make GOOD cookies. The problem I usually have is that no matter what recipe I use the cookies are hard and crispy. I like soft moist cookies.

If your like me, and like soft moist cookies this is the recipe for you!

  1. Thank you Mandy, I have made them every year for decades and still cant find JUST the right recipe. I am always having to add so much more flour for consistency and then it loses the sweetness and tastes like flour…plain flour! I WILL try this one on Friday when girls and I will bake just a small batch for our own little Christmas party this year.

    1. That was the problem I had too. After you mix it up it will be soft BUT after you put it in the fridge it WILL firm up and they taste really good!

  2. Thanks Amanda! I was looking for a good sugar recipe today and knew I’d just seen one on a blog and searched through my list of blogs to find it lol. Haven’t made them yet, but they look yummy.

  3. Oh, those look DELICIOUS! I agree, I’ve given up on making sugar cookies because they’re always so hard, but yours look like they came out soft and yummy!

  4. I just love Cookie, and always looking for new recipes. They sounds like perfectly wonderful Sugar Cookie to my kids!
