Dora’s Christmas CD *Giveaway*
Both of my girls love Dora, and love Christmas so what better way then to put the two together and create a fantastic CD just for kids for the Holidays!
When we received our copy my girls were very excited! They of course wanted to listen to it right away. Yes even a month and a half before I normally start listening to Christmas music, and I have to say this is a cute CD. I don’t recommend listening to it for a long period of time because well, we all know Dora’s voice can get a little annoying (shh don’t tell my kids I said that).
But this really is a cute CD and makes a great stocking stuffer! Or a great gift for what’s that Holiday on Dec. 5th? It’s a Dutch holiday called Sinterklaas. The Dutch celebrate Sinterklaas (the name is a contraction of Sint Nikolaas) on Dec. 5 and 6. The holiday, consisting of St. Nicholas’s Eve and St. Nicholas’s Day, honors the life of St. Nicholas. We celebrate this Holiday and it’s a great time to givve the kids this CD (then they get to listen to it longer.)
About Dora’s Christmas CD:
Preschoolers can share the holiday spirit with Dora and her adventure-loving pals as Nickelodeon and Sony Music Entertainment release the CD, Dora’s Christmas. Available in stores nationwide and on iTunes on Tuesday, Sept. 15. The CD includes 16 new holiday songs performed by the world’s most beloved Latina heroine, Dora the Explorer. The disc features classic carols with a Latin twist, including “Deck the Halls,” “Jingle Bells” and “Santa Claus Is Coming Aquí!” The CD also includes bonus songs from Nickelodeon’s upcoming TV special, “Dora’s Christmas Carol Adventure.”
