Spring is here and that means a lot of people are Spring Cleaning and purging things. I know I have been going through our closets and finding things we just don’t need or use. When I was about to just throw bags and bags away of clothes that no longer fit my children I though oh wait, Donate Stuff at Goodwill®, where our donations support people who are seeking to earn jobs and build careers.

It’s simple. When you donate your stuff to Goodwill®, you create opportunities for individuals in your community looking to find a job and build skills, including veterans and military families, single mothers and many others.

Goodwill® uses 82 percent of the revenue generated through your donated stuff to support and grow programs that result in significant social impact for your community members in need of work.

Follow this simple plan for the next seven days and send your donations to your local Goodwill®.

Day 1) Clear your closet clutter
Day 2) Time to tackle the kitchen
Day 3) Spread holiday cheer (holiday decorations, center pieces, Halloween)
Day 4) Downsize your tech toys (used laptops)
Day 5) Clean out your office supplies
Day 6) Provide quality entertainment (unused movies, video games)
Day 7) Downsize your bookshelf
