Crisco Cooking Chronicles *Giveaway*
Last fall when I traveled to Ohio for the Smuckers Event I had the chance to do my own Crisco Olive Oil Taste Testing. We had a lot of fun and learned a lot about the different oils. I am totally excited about the Crisco Cooking Chronicles.
Crisco Cooking Chronicles provides a forum for consumers to connect and share their cooking and baking stories via a message board function. www.Crisco.com/Chronicles will also serve as a hub for video tutorials and tips for tackling everyday cooking and baking challenges so home chefs can learn to make the most out of their time spent in the kitchen. Kicking off with an olive and canola oil theme, the tutorials section will help consumers incorporate more easy and delicious recipes into their everyday diets like “Herbed Parmesan Bread Dipping Oil, “Grilled Salmon with Maple-Dill Glaze” and ”Classic Blueberry Muffins.”
Consumers who upload a “cooking chronicle” on www.Crisco.com/chronicles will be entered into a series of drawings, with four monthly Grand Prize winners receiving a basket of Crisco products and $500 for kitchen supplies. Additional consumers will receive a Crisco spatula while supplies last.
Crisco is offering my readers one neat gift basket. The basket includes; Crisco® 100% Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Crisco Pure Olive Oil, Crisco Light Olive Oil. Crisco Puritan Canola Oil with Omega-3 DHA, Crisco Pure Vegetable Oil, Crisco® Olive Oil Cooking Spray, an apron, olive oil tasting dishes and a journal to record your cooking chronicles.

I liked the recipes best. My favorite is Sweet and Spicy Glazed Salmon
that i learn that they had lite olive oila and how to use olive oil
I learned that Crisco makes a whole lot more than shortening. Nice to see all the recipes. Great new ideas.
I didn’t know that Crisco had olive oil products. One of my earliest memories of mom in the kitchen was the Blue Crisco can she used for almost everything that needed fat.

I like some of their different receipes, some I have never seen or thought to try.
I like the recipe section
Don’t wash mushrooms until just before you use them, and then wash under a steady stream of lukewarm water. Avoid long soaking time, and trim or cut away the stem after washing to prevent extra absorption of water.
Lots of great recipes! I will print out and try the Mediterrean Salad when the cherry tomatoes I hope to plant soon are ripe.
WHAT I LIKE ABOUT THE SITE IS IT IS THERE IFN I WANT OR NEED IT
I like the favorite recipe section. Especially the chicken enchiladas recipe used with Crisco oil. Yummy!!
