Crayola “Made in America” Giveaway closed*

There are few items that are still under $2 and made right here in America, but Crayola’s regular-sized crayons, a quintessential back-to-school supply, is one of those.

From the 8-count all the way up to the 120-count box, the company’s regular-sized crayons, including reds, whites, blues and every color in between are all made in Easton, Pennsylvania. Crayola makes their crayons using the finest pigments for intense color, and is a special blend of that colored pigment, along with paraffin wax for smoothness and clay for strength. A dedicated workforce of over 1,200 help to create these high-quality crayons that will land in the backpacks of students and in classrooms across the nation. At the manufacturing facility in Pennsylvania, Crayola makes 650 crayons per minute and up to 13.5 million crayons a day! More than 400 different crayon colors are made, including favorites such as burnt sienna, carnation pink and midnight blue. On average, the company makes 3 billion crayons a year, enough to circle the world six times!

In addition to being made in America, Crayola feels it is their responsibility to shrink their carbon footprint for the kids who know and love the products and who will be the next leaders of this country. A solar farm located in Forks Township, PA provides enough power to make 1 billion of the 3 billion crayons that Crayola produces each year and 500 million markers per year.

    I love that Crayola allows my kids to use their imaginations and let their visions come to life. Since I now know they’re made in the US, I certainly love that about them too!

    I love the variety that crayola offers, in the many types of products they offer for all sorts of uses. Not just kids use the products, As an artist who creates in lots of mediums, the markers are very useful & they even offer a fabric crayon that I use a lot. It can give you two differant techniques depending on how you use it on the fabrics then heat set it, and it stays and it is great to work with. Thanks great giveaway :)

    Crayola has been my favorite crayon growing up. The quality is superb, and no other brand even compares. I love that they have been aro und for so many years, and they always make new products that are reliable and affordable
