Colgate Celebrates a Decade of Dora the Explorer

doraFor years, Dora the Explorer has taken kids on countless journeys, helping them overcome obstacles and solve problems on the way to a common goal. Now, in celebration of a decade of Dora, kids can explore a new challenge – discovering the path to healthy smiles with Dora the Explorer Toothpaste and an assortment of Toothbrushes from Colgate.

Specially designed for kids ages 2 and up, the Dora the Explorer Anti-Cavity Fluoride Toothpaste in a Mild Bubble Fruit flavor is clinically proven to defend against cavities while strengthening and protecting developing teeth. Plus, the Dora Toothbrushes featuring soft bristles and non-slip cushioned handles are available in two styles – one specially designed for kids with developing teeth, and the other featuring a small “battery-operated” rotating head that cleans teeth and gently sweeps away plaque. The combination of the Dora the Explorer Anti-Cavity Fluoride Toothpaste and Toothbrushes will encourage brushing and have both kids and moms singing, “We Did It! ¡Lo hicimos!”

My girls have both grown up loving Dora, so whenever I can give them a character they love and will help them with good hygiene I am all for it. When my girls first saw the Dora Toothpaste, they were very excited! Right away they wanted to brush their teeth.

I have noticed that if you give them something they like it’s not a fight to get them to do something they need to do. Like brushing their teeth. The Dora Toothpaste is pink and have “sparkles” in it and of course any girl would love it. Plus it has a nice taste so the girls don’t mind brushing their teeth.

We have a “competition” each day on who can make their teeth whiter. This gets both the girls brushing and I know their teeth are clean.

The Dora the Explorer Toothpaste ($2.79) and Toothbrushes ($2.49 – $5.99) are available online  or at major retailers across the country.

  1. We love Colgate! THat is what we use in our household of 5…three of six kids still at home. I have seen such cute toothbrushes over the years from Colgate. I had to smile at the Dora ones. My youngest was just commenting on Dora and how she used to be so into that show when “she was little”. Then admitted she still LOVED Dora and all the neighborhood kids want to dress up like the Dora Gang next Halloween!! Wow…10 years gone in just a blink of an eye!!!
