Choose Movies on Demand and Win a Wii *Giveaway closed*

When I want to find a movie to watch that I know is just going to be released Hubby and I turn to Cable’s Movies On Demand. The newest Movies on Demand releases from the studios of Fox, Lionsgate, NBC Universal, Sony, Summit and Warner Bros, brought to you via cable companies Armstrong, Bend Broadband, Bright House Networks, Cablevision, Comcast, Cox, Insight and Time Warner.

Cable’s Movies On Demand offers a variety of family friendly movies, such as Prince of Persia…. etc… Many premiere On Demand the same day as DVD. And with 2-Day Rentals you can extend your viewing time up to 48 hours. Just more reasons why  On Demand is In Demand.

I personally can not wait to see Prince of Persia and love that it is available through Movies On Demand.

Below are a selection of films premiering on cable TV’s Movies On Demand (MOD) platform in October, 2010.  All the films listed below and many others are at viewers’ fingertips through the cable remote, with no planning necessary, no DVDs to return and no late-fee worries. All are offered in both standard and high-definition.

Client 9: The Rise and Fall of Eliot Spitzer”Now Available (Available before Theaters), R, Documentary.  This documentary feature takes an in-depth look at the rapid rise and dramatic fall of New York Governor Eliot Spitzer.

“Splice”Now Available (Same Day as DVD, Weeks Before Netflix and Redbox), R, Horror, Adrien Brody, Sarah Polley. Two superstar genetic engineers create a strangely beautiful, amazing creature that exceeds their wildest dreams, but as she grows, her existence threatens to become their worst nightmare.

“A Nightmare On Elm Street” Now Available (Same Day as DVD, Weeks Before Netflix and Redbox), R, Horror, Jackie Earle Haley. Freddy’s back in the update of Wes Craven’s classic tales of the hideously disfigured dream-stalker and his prey.

“Iron Man 2”Now Available, PG-13, Action/Adventure, Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow.  The world is aware that Tony Stark is the armored Super Hero Iron Man. Tony is unwilling to divulge the secrets behind the Iron Man armor because he fears the information will slip into the wrong hands.

“Jonah Hex”Now Available (Same Day as DVD, Weeks Before Netflix and Redbox), PG-13, Action/Adventure, Josh Brolin, Megan Fox.  A bounty hunter with one foot in the natural world and one on the other side, Jonah is asked to hunt down his oldest enemy, who is gathering an army and preparing to unleash Hell itself.

Joan Rivers: A Piece of Work” Now Available (Same Day as Theatrical) TV-MA, Documentary. Peeling away the mask of an iconic comedian and exposing the struggles, sacrifices and joy of living life as a ground breaking female performer.

“Prince Of Persia: The Sands of Time”Now Available, PG-13, Adventure, Jake Gyllenhaal, Ben Kingsley. A prince and princess need to stop an angry ruler from unleashing a sandstorm.

“Predators”Premieres October 19 (Same Day as DVD, Weeks Before Netflix and Redbox), R, Action, Adrien Brody, Topher Grace. Adrien Brody stars as Royce, a mercenary who reluctantly leads a group of elite warriors who come to realize they’ve been brought together on an alien planet; as prey.

“Winter’s Bone” Premieres October 26 (Same Day as DVD), R, Drama, Jennifer Lawrence, John Hawkes.  An unflinching Ozark Mountain girl hacks through dangerous social terrain as she hunts down her drug-dealing father while trying to keep her family intact.

“Sex And The City 2” Premieres October 26 (Same Day as DVD, Weeks Before Netflix and Redbox), R, Romantic Comedy, Sarah Jessica Parker. Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte, and Miranda take another bite out of The Big Apple-and beyond.

“The Girl Who Played With Fire” Premieres October 26 (Same Day as DVD), R, Thriller, Michael Nyqvist, Noomi Rapace. The second installment in the Millennium trilogy following The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.

“How To Train Your Dragon” Premieres October 29, PG, Kids/Family, Gerald Butler, Kristen Wiig. The story centers around a Viking teenager named Hiccup, who lives on the island of Berk, where fighting dragons is a way of life. But when he encounters an injured dragon, his world is flipped upside down.

I resent the RT to include @mommymandy because initially I just assumed the prefill would be whatever you wanted it to say. Totally my bad as you clearly had in Extra Entries about the required addition.
I’m finding a number of blogs that have RT buttons where the prefill is not what they require for the entry. Do you disqualify the RT entries where the requested addition isn’t in there?

    • Amanda says:

No betty, the retweet just amkes it easier for entrants. I would love if you cna add @mommymandy but I understand if some are missing it.
