Celebrate her Birthday at American Girl Place

I grew up a huge American Girl Fan. I love everything about the dolls and wanted my own so bad. I always loved going to my friend Alison’s house to play with her dolls.  knew that if I had daughters one day I’d pass my love for American Girl and the amazing stories of the girls to my own kids.

Samantha and Sarah have become in love with AG too and Samantha has really started getting into the books and learning more about the Historical Dolls while Sarah loves the My American Girl Dolls.

When my in laws asked Sarah what she wanted for her birthday she said she wanted to go to American Girl Place. We happen to live in Southern California so we decided to take the girls during Winter Break and celebrate Sarah’s birthday.

My father in law also has been saving change for years and had always said one day when it gets really full he was going to take the girls to turn in all the change and what ever money they had they would would be able to spend at American Girl on whatever they wanted! We were shocked that there was 200 dollars in the coin jar! Each girl had 100 dollars to spend on anything they wanted in the store. (after lunch of course).

Celebrating Birthdays at American Girl Place is a very special and memorable experience for any child, both the birthday girl and the party guests. No matter what Birthday Package you choose, they will have a blast! We had the Deluxe Birthday Celebration for Sarah and I was blown away at everything that was included in this package! I felt like a little girl again. Watching my daughters laugh and enjoy the afternoon was such a wonderful experience.

Deluxe Birthday Celebration

Give her a party she’ll never forget at American Girl! This all-inclusive package features a delicious meal with signature pink-and-white cake and ice cream, special goody bags and doll tiaras for each girl, a commemorative keepsake for the birthday girl, a fun table activity, and a craft—all in a private dining room. Make her day even more memorable by adding a Doll Hair Salon service or party photo to the experience. For girls ages 8 and up. Parties last 90 minutes. Parties booked based on availability

When we arrived for Lunch I checked in and only had a few minutes to wait. We were escorted to our table and the girls were so excited to have a Doll Chair for their dolls!

The party started off with our Server getting to know the girls and starting a fun game with us. We all said what our favorite Ice Cream was and then we had to remember what everyone said, we then tossed a pillow to each other and as we tossed it to someone we said their favorite Ice Cream. It was a blast!

Then the girls played Mirror. They thought it was hilarious and giggled the entire time. I think just the fact that they got to have their dolls and were able to move around, giggle, dance was a lot of fun for them.

Lunch was yummy. What I love about American Girl Place Cafe is all the little goodies you get during your meal. This I remembered from New York a year ago. From Cinnamon Buns, to the yummy goodies of the First Course, our Main Entree and then Dessert!

The experience itself is one that your child will never forget!

After Lunch my girls spent over an hour shopping for the perfect items for their dolls. Sarah wanted to get the most she could for her money and Samantha knew exactly what she wanted.  In the end they both decided to share their stuff so they could have “more”. It’s funny because my sister and I would have pulled out money together and picked stuff together so that we could end up with more.

*Birthday Party Upgrade was provided at no cost in exchange for my honest review.
