poor sissy

Lately Sarah has been soaking her diapers at night, so bad that it gets her pants wet and then give her the cold chills. I noticed a few nights ago that it was causing her to cough at night. Yesterday, she started coughing really bad. I gave her RX the Dr gave me in case she starts coughing and wheezing from her asthma. I feel so bad for her because whenever she gets a little cough like this it always turns into bronchitis. ow I have to figure out a way to get her to the Dr. when my hubby’s only day off is Thursday and the Dr’s office is closed then. poor sissy.

Yay Christmas!

I am so excited for the Holidays coming. I can’t wait to go to my in laws on Thursday and visit with all the family. I can’t wait for my FIL’s yummy Turkey and my MIL’s stuffing.. *drool* I normally help my mother in law set up her Christmas tree and decorate it. but I probably wont this year. I am so excited to break out my *NSYNC Christmas CD and start singing to all the songs. I can’t wait until we move into our new apartment (this weekend maybe?) and then go pick out a tree and shop for lights and ornaments! It will be weird this year with no snow. That is one thing I will miss about Arrowhead, the snow. I also get in the spirit by watching all the different movies. We bought National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation a few weeks ago, and on Friday my friend Megan bought us A Christmas Story! Now all I need is It’s a Wonderful Life and I am set. I also would love to buy a Christmas village set (add onto mine)

This picture was taken yesterday, I swear we took like a gazillion pictures because either Sam turned her face or Sarah’s got squished up. This seriously was the best picture out of all of them

~ Happiest Moments Photos ~

Challenge #6 –

Challenge #6 is Happiest Moments Photos
“They say a picture is worth a thousand words – and it’s true. A great picture captures the emotion of a moment and preserves it forever. Last Monday, we shared photos that inspired us. This week, our challenge is to share a photo that captures one of your happiest moments.”

This is me right after I gave birth to our second daughter. I wanted to share the photo of me and my first daughter but I don’t have one online, but my feelings are the exact same. I couldn’t believe such a beautiful, perfect little person had grown inside me for 9 months and here she was.
I was so worried when I was pregnant with #2 because I kept thinking to myself “how could I possibly love someone else as much as I love Samantha (first baby)” I was in love with this baby the second I saw her. I still remember her delivery like it was yesterday I remember how I kept trying to see her coming out (her face was turned to the right) and when I saw she was a girl I was ecstatic. I was so happy to have another daughter and so happy for Sam to have a sister. This was one of the happiest moments after giving birth, it was just me and the baby, hubby went to his parents to take a shower and have dinner with his parents, and I remember all I wanted to do was kiss this new little person and let her know how much her mommy loved her and I was so thankful God gave me a chance to be a mommy again.

So this is my happy moment, I look at this picture and I can’t help but smile, sometimes I even find myself with happy tears. this was the moment our family grew and the love in our home grew.

Halloween Photos

ok I am a week late. sorry!!! I wanted to share some photos of the girls from Halloween. The only things I made for their costumes were their bows and tutus. I had a designer make the peasant tops and corsets. Here are a few of the pictures. I still have to get the rest from my friend. We ended up using her camera the whole time so I have to wait until she uploads them to her laptop and then emails them to me. I tried explaining to her about putting them in a zip file but I think I confused her. LOL. anyways, we all had a great time!

I chose this picture because EVERYONE who goes to Disney Land has their picture taken at sleeping beauty’s castle. and of course Samantha has no problem posing for the picture either.

Autumn Goody Swap!

Christy from arewethereyetmom.com hosted the Autumn Goody Swap. Lisa W (I guess she doesn’t have a blog) had me, and I received my package in the mail today. I didn’t even say I liked Victoria Secret, and she sent me bubble bath!!! YAY!!! and SNICKERS!!! LOL. She also sent me these two adorable stuffed animals by GUNZ. One is a bear in a pumpkin costume and the other is a turkey! Sarah already ran off with them saying “baby” and hugging them. She sent me some awesome googly eye stickers and a scarecrow scrapbook sticker. YAY! both will be perfect for scrap booking! The dish she put the candy in has a cute turkey on it and I am seriously going to make hubby meatloaf in it!
YAY! I love my gifts. they are perfect! I hope that Emma gets her package from me soon! She is all the way in Canada.

This is the picture I am using for Sarah’s 2nd Birthday invitations. I made the tutu is like 10 minutes, and the tiara was mine from my wedding. I just love her smile and the look she is giving me, I also love how she is playing with the fake pearls.

Pumpkin Carving

Yesterday the girls and I carved the pumpkin Samantha picked out from the Pumpkin Patch.

Pumpkin Patch 2007

Yesterday we went to the pumpkin patch in Yucaipa. We had a lot of fun! The girls got to pick out their own pumpkins, and then got to do a few of the blowup slides things. I have no idea what they are called.

2nd Birthday

Sarah’s second birthday is coming up next month on the 30th and I wanted to get these together and printed (I think it can take up to 2 weeks to get them printed) anyways, so today I whipped up this tutu in about 10 minutes, got out a pair of faux pearls I gave the girls and my tiara from my wedding, took her outside and stuck her on the grass infront of our apartment. Al I had to do to get her to giggle was tickle her feet. I absolutely HATE my camera but surprsingly it takes some OK pictures outside. I cropped her a little, and made this in PSP7. I have PSE but I jsut started working on that program and don’t know how to use it very well. Anyways, this is what I ahve come up with. I need to add the information still (I emailed MIL about that one) and I need to put her birthdate on it. I wanted some advice on it and if I should change anything.

Here are my babies both at one month old. Sarah is on the left, Samantha on the right. This is my husband’s favorite picture of Samantha, and when Sarah turned one month old I put the same outfit on her and took a picture of her. I can not believe how much they look aliked when they were newborns. Now Sarah has taken on her own little features. At times she still looks like her Sissy.

(baby bug bite me again. ACK!!!)

Book Case!

For Christmas the girls are getting a new bedroom set. My inlaws are buying them twin beds and a dresser. I have narrowed it down to two bedroom sets. Both from Pottery Barn. Samantha’s toddler bed is the Catalina bed. I really like the Kendell Bed, the Anderson Bed and the Madaline Bed. I have no idea which one to pick. I like all three of them.

Here is their room as of right now. I have wood letters painted girlie on the walls. (Sarah’s is above her crib) When we get their new beds I will change the letters and put them above each of their beds.
Sarah is still in the crib, but I am excited about switching her, plus at PB they have side rail you cna buy. so YAY! I also plan on buying them new bedding and a new table and chair set. their beds will go how they are below in the pictures, adn their dresser will go in the middle. I plan on putting their table and chairs more in the middle of the room. I want to get a round table. I am absolutely in love with the rug. I got it on ebay back in April. I paid like 50 dollars for it after shipping.

little angels

Little angels, you are loved. I always think of what might have been.

“Too perfect for Earth”

What Makes a Mother?

I thought of you and closed my eyes
And prayed to God today
I asked “What makes a Mother?”
And I know I heard Him say.

“A Mother has a baby”
This we know is true
“But God can you be a Mother,
When your baby’s not with you?”

“Yes, you can,” He replied
With confidence in His voice
“I give many women babies,
When they leave is not their choice.

Some I send for a lifetime,
And others for the day.
And some I send to feel your womb,
But there’s no need to stay.”

“I just don’t understand this God
I want my baby to be here.”
He took a deep breath and cleared His throat,
And then I saw the tear.

“I wish I could show you,
What your child is doing today.
If you could see your child’s smile,
With all the other children and say…

‘We go to Earth to learn our lessons,
Of love and life and fear.
My Mommy loved me oh so much,
I got to come strait here.

I feel so lucky to have a Mom,
Who had so much love for me.
I learned my lessons very quickly,
My Mommy set me free.

I miss my Mommy oh so much,
But I visit her every day.
When she goes to sleep,
On her pillow’s where I lay

I stroke her hair and kiss her cheek,
And whisper in her ear.
Mommy don’t be sad today,
I’m your baby and I’m here.’

“So you see my dear sweet ones,
your children are okay.
Your babies are born here in My home,
And this is where they’ll stay.

They’ll wait for you with Me,
Until your lesson’s through.
And on the day that you come home
they’ll be at the gates for you.

So now you see what makes a Mother,
It’s the feeling in your heart
it’s the love you had so much of
Right from the very start

Though some on earth may not realize,
you are a Mother.
Until their time is done.
They’ll be up here with Me one day
and know that you are the best one!”

please everyone light a candle for those who have lost a baby today.

Sundays

dang! Today is so slow. I haven’t seen a Sunday so slow before. I guess most people are lucky and have their dear Hubby home with them. 🙁 not me. My Hubby is working. So I have been spending today cleaning and organizing! YAY!! I got a huge bag full of clothes that Sam and Sarah out grew, some clothes of Pat’s that he never wears, and some of my jeans that I don’t wear and put them out by the dumpster with a sign saying “free clothes” on it. LOL. (is that ghetto?)I just figured instead of throwing them away I could just let people who need them take them. I am also cleaning our closet. It was bad!!! my stuff was a mess you didn’t even want to go in the closet. I’ll wait to show those pictures for “tackle it Tuesdays”

Tuesday were getting our carpet cleaned. YAY!!

I did put the laundry away and am washing clothes. fun!!! *hear the sarcasm?*
